"i literally just got here last night" i looked at rose who had brought a couple of dresses into the room.

"i know i know but this is a very important event. all leaders meet with other great leaders and discuss business. your dad wanted you to join us, he says that all this might be very new but that he want you to adapt to this life." she sat on the bed next to me.

this morning has been very peaceful considering my dad has been gone since early in the morning.

"will spencer go?" i asked

"he will but won't be joining us. all of my boys are big powerful leaders, with stories that have left people in wonder." she said and i tiled my head wondering what she meant.

"to people they got powerful on their own and popped out of nowhere when in reality i saved and rose their empire for them as they grew and taught them how to be responsible to maintain and grow their power. no one and nothin can bring my boys down." she said with a small smile

"spencer told me it's hard for people to find their weaknesses." i looked at her "it is. because the easiest way to get under one's skin is by hitting them with someone or something that means the most to them" she said

"spencer knows his brother is alive" i said before she walked out. "what?" she turned back

"i met his brother at the polibios house, it slipped and i think it was a bad idea to tell him all the details."

there was a look of worry in her eyes but she tried to hide it.

"please get ready for the ball" she said then walked out.

i still have 6 hours before the ball and don't feel like getting ready just yet.

i decided to go take a shower and wear something comfy for now. i walked out and heard noise come from the room next to mine.

then a bark followed.

the door was slightly opened and i slowly walked in.

"close the door!" spencer yelled as the husky dashed my way.

i closed it immediately "aww" i smiled kneeling down to play with it.

white and brown fur with blue eyes close to white.

"hes so soft" i smiled hugging the dog. i've always wanted a husky but my mom wouldn't let it happen.

"yea just got him today" spencer smiled kneeling in front of me to pet the husky as well.

"he really likes you" he laughed seeing how it snuggles up on me. "how come?" i looked at him

"he scratched chace hella bad, wouldn't stop barking at jabez and almost bit eric's hand off" he chuckled

i smiled and looked at him.

"you going to the ball?" we both asked at the same time

i nodded yes and he responded with a simple "same"

"heard you aren't joining us?" i said "i can't but everyone is getting ready here and leaving from here" he said

"hmm any idea why you're going to wear?" i asked

"i actually can't pick out of all my suits" he smiled then stood up.

"lemme help" i smiled following him to his closet.
