"𝙄'𝙢 𝙂𝙡𝙖𝙙 𝙄 𝙈𝙚𝙩 𝙔𝙤𝙪" (Camilo Madrigal Fanfic)

【Ｃｈａｐｔｅｒ ３】

We walk up to the Madrigals casa, Cielo nudged my arm and pointed at something, more like someone. Camilo was greeting the guest as he turns into them, "Your esposo" (Husband) she whispers as I move her face away from my ear, "Asqueroso" (Disgusting) I whispered. 

"Ah La Familia Trinidad!" Camilo said as he hugs lolo "Señora" he said before hugging lola, he shook mom and dads hand before giving the twins high five. "Hello again Camilo" I greeted first, "Hola-" he stopped as he looks at me, I smile but he didn't budge. "You can stare at my sister later, let us in first yeah?" Cielo butted in making Camilo look at her, "Oh yeah umm please come in" he said gesturing us to come in. "Sorry about that señorita" he apologized with a smile, "It's alright" I said as I walk in.

Camilo's POV

As they went inside, I let out a deep sigh. After greeting few more people, I walked inside and went to my family, "Good job on just staring at her hermono" Dolores said smirking, "Thanks, idiota" I whispered. "I heard that, you should stop looking like a fool in front of her" Dolores said as I mocked her, "Camilo stop that" Mama said as Dolores laughed.

Lara's POV

It was almost time for Antonio to get his gift, the Madrigals stood beside us as we wait. "Wow Luisa, we're just the same age?" Cielo said as she and Luisa started chatting, "You know Isabela, you can stop your engagement and just be with my nieto huh?" Lola said eyeing Daniel and Isabela. "Lola" Daniel whined as we laughed, the person next to me slightly bumped into me as I look at them. "Wha- Stop that Dolores!" they whisper-shouted, "Camilo?" I called out as he quickly looked at me and smiled, "Hola Bonita"(Pretty) he greeted. "Bonita?" I repeated, "Hm? Can't call a pretty lady Bonita?" he asked as I just laughed and swayed my head, "You really do look beautiful today señorita" he complimented. 

"You look guapo as always Camilo"(Handsome) I complimented back as he scoffed, "I know, it's in the genes" he smirked. "But I think Antonio is the good-looking sibling other than Dolores" I whispered as he glared at me, "Just saying the truth" I continue as he rolled his eyes making me laugh. "Shush you two, it's about to start" Mama said as we nodded.

"50 years ago, in our darkest moment. This candle blessed us with a miracle, and the greatest honor of our family has been to use our blessings to serve this beloved community. Tonight we come together once more as another steps into the light to make us proud" Abuela ended her speech as the drums played again. I hope that Mirabel is okay, speaking of Mirabel, where is she?

The curtains moved to reveal Antonio, the lights were on him as we clapped out hands. He was looking a bit worried and scared, he looked to his side and offered his hand, and Mirabel showed up taking his hand. I instantly smiled at her when she found me, Antonio clung into Mirabels arm before walking. They got up the stairs as Abuela Alma said a few words to Antonio as he held onto the candle just like our ceremonies. Antonio hesitated for a little before holding the door nob as it glowed, making me sigh in relief. A bird flew to his arm, he was talking to it, suddenly bunch of animals started coming into the casa and walking up the stairs to him.

"We have a new gift!" Abuela Alma announced as we cheered for Antonio, he opens the door to his room. I didn't quite see the insides yet because I somehow got behind the crowd, I decided to wait outside until everyone gets inside. I sat down by the stairs, I look beside me to see a dog, "Hello there" I greeted as it barked and moved closer to me, snuggling into me. "Okay okay okay!" I laughed and started petting him as he laid on my lap, "So you're a he huh?" I said as he wagged his tail and snuggled into me more. "I wonder what's happening in there" I whispered, "I hope Mirabel's okay" I continue.

Just as when I mentioned Mirabel, she suddenly came down the stairs singing. Everyone else were inside the room, it was only me, the dog and Mirabel. We sat their listening to Mirabels song, it was pretty sad, the dog even cried to the song. She finished singing as I stood up and walk up to her, I placed my hand on her shoulder as she looked at me and I smiled. I gave her a hug, "You'll get your miracle soon Mirabel" I whispered, suddenly something fell and break making me jump. "Puta- That scared the soul out of me" (Puta is like fuck) I said calming down as Mirabel and the dog walk up to the broken piece, "Ow!" Mirabel spoke as I rushed to her.

"Mirabel, what happened, did you hurt her?" I look at the dog as he tilted his head confused, "Okay it was not you" I said and took her hand seeing a cut. The ground was suddenly shaking, "Casita?" Mirabel said as the ground cracked, "OH! WHAT? Am I heavy??" I quickly stood up. "It's not you Lara" Mirabel said still eyeing the ground, "Oh..wait WHY IS THE CASA BREAKING THOUGH?" I semi shouted. Mirabel followed the cracks, "C'mon boy, let's follow Mirabel" I said as he barked and we followed her. 

"What is happening..." I whispered as the place continued to crack and the doors were flickering,  "Mirabel! The candle" I pointed at the candle as it flickers a little, "This is bad, I have to tell the others" she said as I nodded. She ran to Antonios room, we went back downstairs but the cracks were slowly going away. "QUÉ??" I freaked out because how is that physically possible??

Mirabel and the other came out of the room, I ran up to them. "Mirabel.." I whispered, "The cracks were there, they were...everywhere" Mirabel said as I nodded. "The house was in trouble, the candle was..." Mirabel seemed confused, "Ah! The casa really was breaking, I saw it too" I protested, "Lara?" Mama called as I look at her. "Abuela I promise-" she was cut off by Abuela Alma, "That's enough" she eyed both of us, she then faced everyone and assured her that nothing was wrong. I scratched my head, "Were we hallucinating?" I said "I don't think so, I mean I still have the cut" Mirabel showed her injured hand.

"Lara!" Mama called as I sighed as Julieta walk up to Mirabel, "Yes Mama" I answered. "You and Mirabel were probably tired" Mama said patting my back, a dog suddenly barked, "And you met a new friend" she said kneeling down and petting the dog. "Yeah, we're keeping him" I said as she laughed and approved, "You go ahead and party with the rest, with him too" I smiled at the dog. "Alright, stay safe mi hija" she said kissing my forehead before heading off to party again.

"You two really saw cracks?" a voice behind me scared me as I looked back to se Camilo, "Stop scaring me like that Camilo" I calmed down and sat on the stairs, "It was really confusing you know, one minute there were cracks everywhere then just a second they were gone!" I ranted and sighed. "Don't worry I believe you Bonita" he said sitting next to me, "Yeah right, you probably think we're hallucinating" I sighed and looked up at the sky, "You're not wrong though" he answered as I glared at him making him laugh.

"I wanna show you something Hermosa" he stood up offering his hand, "What's with the nicknames?" I took his hand and dusted off my dress, "The nicknames suits you so why not?" he smiled. "Alright, what are you showing me?" I asked as he told me to follow him.

"Where..are we...GOING!" out of breath as I try to catch up to Camilo, "We're almost there Hermosa" he laughed walking up to me, "C'mon slowpoke, you're gonna love it" he said offering his hand as I took it and sighed. He held my hand, I was intensely focused on that "Camilo is holding my hand, HE is holding MY hand, we're holding hands" I thought. "Ah ha! We're here Bonita!" he cheerfully announced, in front of us was a garden with a gazebo, "Now that's pretty" I said as I look at how the moon brighten ups the area. 

Camilo was already in the gazebo, I looked at how beautiful this place was and slowly walking to the gazebo. You can hear the party from here, "Señorita" Camilo called as I look at him, "Yes Camilo?" I answered walking up to him. He smiled, "May I have this dance, mi amor?" he asked as I was surprised by the nickname, "Mi amor?" he smirked, "You heard me right princesa, now may I?".

 As he finished what he said, music suddenly was playing on the background and only one person could do that, "Daniel? But he's not here and...how?" I asked, "I have my ways princesa" he answered as I sighed and smiled. 

"I'd love to dance with you, Camilo"
