I woke up by a dog licking my face, "AH! I'm up Carlos!" I giggled sitting up on my bed as I pet our dog. "Go downstairs first, I'm gonna clean up" I said as he barked and walked away. I stood up and stretched, "What's good to wear today" I talked to myself as I open my closet and pick on what to wear for today. I decided to wear a blue off-shoulder top paired with a white long skirt, I let my hair down and wore a white headband, "Now where are my glasses" I searched for my glasses. "Mami!" I ran downstairs, "Yes mi hija?" I walk up to her, "Have you seen my glasses?" I asked as Carlos walk up to us with my glasses. "So you took my glasses" I chuckled as I took the glasses from him, "Right! You should go buy school materials for you and the twins" Mom said giving me a bag of money.

"School? You already transferred us to the school?" I asked looking at the bag in my hand, "Your father did" she said continuing to cook, "I'll go visit Mirabel before I go shopping" I said wearing my shoes. "Be careful on the way mi hija!" she waved goodbye as I snatched my bag from the stand and walked to the Madrigals.

I saw Mirabel following Luisa, "Mirabel!" I called as she fixed her glasses and looks at me, "Lara! I'll talk to you later!" she waved and runs back to Luisa. "Then I'll just have to buy supplies" I sighed, "Hola cariño" Camilo greeted as he walks beside me. "What brings you here señorita?" he asked as I look at him, "I was here for Mirabel but she seems busy" he crossed his arms, "You weren't here for me? Ouch" I chuckled. "By the way, you didn't put your hair in a bun like usual" Camilo noticed eyeing my hair, "My hair might fall out if I keep on putting it on a bun you know" I answered. "You look nice with your hair down" he said as I look at him, he suddenly blushed and backed away, "I- I didn't mean to sound weird! I just thought that.." he sighs as I laugh at his embarrassment.

"I was saying, I prefer your hair down. Don't get me wrong! The bun suits you but your hair down just hits different" he smiled as I look away feeling embarrassed, he literally just complimented me. "I have to do my work, these folks won't smile on their own" he said as I nodded, "I'll see you around señorita, don't miss me too much" he winked, "Have fun Camilo" I laughed waving at him.

"Now, school supplies" I said as I walk to a store, "I need notebooks, pencils, ballpens, coloring materials for the twins.." I recited as I look at the shelves. 

Camilo's POV

I skipped around town, helping people, making them laugh, as I hum in my steps. "You look like you're in a good mood Camilo!" a citizen shouted, "Sí! A señorita is waiting for me" I saluted and continued walking. I remember our dance last night, how she admired the garden and the moon, it was beautiful, she was beautiful. The way she smiles when I twirl her around, the sound of her laugh, her gorgeous eyes behind her glasses.

No, I'm not in love.

Well, I think I'm not but she is interesting. I wonder where this friendship would lead us, I smirked.

Lara's POV

"Before I check out, I need markers" I walk to the markers, I reached for a pack when another person was also reaching for it. We both look at each other, "Ah you go ahead" I offered, "No, you have it" she said getting another pack as we both laughed. "Looks like you're getting school supplies and that's a lot" she said eyeing my stuff, "It's for me and my younger twins" I said as she nodded, "You're new right? So you're going to attend my school" she smiles. "We might be classmates you know" she smirked, "The names Ronalin but call me Rona instead" I smile at her, "Lara, if you're in the 10th grade then there's a chance that we'll be classmates" I said as she started jumping.

"Same grade! OOOHhh I hope you transfer into my class" she excitedly say as I laugh and place my stuff for check out. "Oh by the way, I'm in the same class as Camilo" she whispers getting my attention, "Really now?" I asked as she aggressively nodded, "Mirabel too" she continued. "Are you close with him?" she scoffed, "Nope, he's with the 3 annoying girls at our school" she made a disgusted face as I laugh. "No for real, they keep on clinging to Camilo and his two other friends" she says making a kissy face, "Oh! And I'll introduce you to my friend in school tomorrow" she winked at me as the owner finished up checking my stuff.

I handed the money and said my thanks, "See you tomorrow Rona" I waved as she waved back. "That's interesting, looking forward for school tomorrow" I said looking at my stuff. "Now I should find a Madrigal" I said, "You meant me right?" Camilo appeared beside me smiling, "Hola Camilo and no, I meant Mirabel" I rolled my eyes playfully, he shifts into Mirabel. "There, here I am" he said stretching his arm, "The real Mirabel" I chuckle as he deeply sighed and shifts back to himself.

"What did you buy anyways?" he ask as I handed him the bag, "That's a lot of color pencils" he digs into the bag, "For the twins" I said as I look around. "Wait, this is for what?" he looks at me, "For school, duh" I answered, "Well dUh, I didn't know you already transferred" he smiled. "Dad did all the work" I informed as he nods, "Soooo, shall I walk you to school?" he smirks and wiggled his eyebrows. "Don't you walk with Mirabel and Antonio? I have to walk with the twins too" he scoffed, "Pfft, I can go early just to walk with you...and the twins to school" he said smirking at me. "If you say so, but I don't think you'll wake up early" I said as I walk faster, "WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT!" he shouted as he walks faster to catch up to me, "I mean that you're a heavy sleeper" I patted his shoulder.

"Walking with you, Antonio AND Mirabel would be nice" I said as he glares at me, we reached my house. "Señorita, your bag" he calls and handing me the bag, "I almost forgot about that, thanks for carrying it Camilo" I said. "See you at school then?" I turn around as he looks confused, "I thought we were gonna walk?" he crossed his arms, "Dad offered to give us a ride on our first day, maybe the next day we can all walk together" I smiled. "Alright then, buenas noches hermosa" he smiles, "Goodnight Camilo" I return a smile before walking inside and locking the door.

"So your boyfriend walked you home huh?" Cielo smirked with her hands on her hips, "Qué?" I placed my bag on the stand, "Camilo, are you two finally dating?" she asked as I handed Daniel the bag full of school supplies. "What are you talking about Cielo, we only met yesterday" I said walking up to Daniel who placed the stuff on the living room table, "Just asking, maybe I should find my own novio or novia" (Boyfriend or Girlfriend) she smiles at herself as Daniel giggled and I sat down and organize my things.

"Oh, I forgot to look for Mirabel"
