Lara's POV

I'm looking after the twins while doing homework, "Ate, kayo na ni Kuya Camilo diba?" (Ate, you and Kuya Camilo are dating right?) Mia asked, "Hmm? Oh yeah we are, why?" I ask as she giggles. "Then can I get the same hair pin like yours?" Mia pointed at my hair clip as I smile and took it off, "Come here Mia" I said as she sat in front of me and I clip the hair pin on. "There, looks nice on you" I said as she giggles, "Won't Kuya Camilo get mad?" Rio asked, "No, I don't think he'll get mad" I answered. Dad, Mom, Lolo and Lola came down all dressed up, "Where are you guys going?" Cielo asked,"Oh! We're going on a parent date with the Madrigals, they'll be here with the kids" Mom answered as the twins cheered.

"Dapat pag uwi namin maayos pa ang bahay ha" (When we come home, the house better be still clean) Lola said pointing at each of us, "Especially you Lara, no smooching with Camilo" Lola said as Cielo teased me and doing the kissy face. There was a knock on the door, "They're here!" Dad said as I look back at my homework, "Lara, can you cook pancit canton later?" Cielo said who was also looking at my homework, "Yeah sure, depends on the flavor" I smirked as she groaned. We both have different taste when it comes to pancit canton, she likes the original while I like the chili calamansi one. "Antonio!" the twins cheered as I put my attention to the people at our door, "Hola amor~" Camilo was inches away from my face, "Move your face...feo" (ugly) I whispered as he looks at me with a shocked face. "Did..Did you just call me ugly? Amor!" he pretended to sound hurt and touch his heart, "Yeah I did so?" I smirked.

He snarled and rolled his eyes, "We'll be going now, take care of the kids!" Pepa said as they shut the door. "What are you doing Lara?" Mirabel asked as she sat next to me, "Our homework" Camilo suddenly poked to the side, "We have homework?!?" he looks at us both. "Yeah? I even asked you if you're going to join me answer our homework but you were busy doing nothing" Mirabel pointed out as he nervously chuckled, "What do you mean...haha I clearly answered it before you did" he said looking at somewhere else. "Uh huh" Mirabel said before being called by Antonio, when she was out of sight, Camilo took my notebook "Let me borrow this when we go home" he said as he scans my notes. "You know, if you paid attention in class~" I said chuckling at how stupid he looks scanning my notes, "You know, it hits different while sleeping in class" he said looking at me with a raised eyebrow, "Pfft okay, I'm not the one who'll fail in class" I said.

"I won't fail, as long as I have you to teach me" he said as I scoffed, "Like I'll teach you" I said as he hugs my waist, "Please teach me! You have to!" he begged as I try to take his hands of me, "Get your hands off me, you feo" I said as he grips on me tighter, "Why are you being mean?" he said glaring at me. "Didn't you know that bullying is my love language?" I teased as he smirks and pushed me down as he was on top of me, "Didn't you know that getting on my loves personal space is my love language?" he teased. "Oh hush you lover boy" I pushed him back as we both laughed, "No for real though, let me borrow your assignment when we go back home" he said as I laugh and agreed. "Oh yeah, I noticed that you gave Mia the hair pin" he said pointing at his hair, "She wanted it so why not? You'll give me a new one right?" I joked as he hums, "Great timing because I actually...brought you a new one" he said feeling his pockets as he took something out.

"Here it is" he said handing me a pink flower clip, I look back at him, "What? You were wearing rosado when I fell in love with you, as I remember" he said thinking, "Is that why you gave me that look when I greeted you?" I asked putting the hair clip on the table, "Hm? Oh it's the time where I thought Hey! I think glasses are my type" he said flicking my glasses as I move back. "Ugh Camilo!" I groaned fixing my glasses as he chuckles, "Don't do that again" I warned him, "What? I do that to Mirabel!" he said pointing at Mirabel who was busy playing with the three tyanaks (goblins) "What would you feel if I wipe my hands with your ruana?" I raised an eyebrow as he hugs himself, "Not my ruana" he whispers. "That's what I thought" I sighed and went back to doing my homework, he then sat on the couch behind me, "Can I braid your hair?" he asks. "You can braid?" I looked at him as he shrugs, "Meh, not really but I could try" he said smiling as I agree.

He braids my hair while I do my homework, "Try not to pull my hair out" I blurted, "Yeah yeah, I'll make you bald if I want to, your hair is in my hands" he whispers as I slap his leg. "Yah! Okay okay I won't! Geez amor" he giggled and continue on his work, "You know, I really like your hair" I said as he hums, "Mama said it's important to take care of your hair since it's half of your attractiveness" he answers. I tried to look at him, "Ah! Don't move, ay dios mio" he said as I laughed, "Lo siento" I giggled and continue to do my homework.

After a few minutes, I was done with my homework, "Ugh, my brain is evaporating" I rubbed my temples. "And done, hand me the hair clip bonita" Camilo said as I gave him the clip, he clips it on my hair, "There, I did a pretty good job if I say so myself" he proudly said as I stood up. "Really? Cielo, are the braids good?" I turned my back to her, "Needs a little fixing but yeah it's pretty good" Cielo approved as Luisa and Isabela both sent a thumbs up, "See, I told you I did good" he smirks and crossed his arms. "Then thank you, now I have to make canton" I said walking to the kitchen being followed by Camilo, "Canton?" he asks as I took out the packs, "Yeah, want to make them with me?" I showed him the packs as he nods, "Oh! Me too!" Mirabel suddenly appeared from Camilos back, "Sure" I said and open the packs.

"Mirabel, put water on these two pots about this much" I said as she nods and went to the sink, "Oh and after that place them on the stove" I added. "Now for you, mix these here while I do the calamansi one" I ordered giving Camilo the original flavor packs, "Why are there two kinds when we all can just have one?" he ask pointing at my bowl, "I like this flavor more" I answered as he shrugs. "The pots are on the stove and already heated up" Mirabel said as I gave her the packs with the noodles inside, "The yellow ones are for one pot and the green ones are for the other pot, okay?" I said as she nods and went to the pots. "I'm done here hermosa" Camilo called as I gave him eggs, "You can make sunny side ups yeah?" I asked as he looks at the eggs, "Well yeah but they aren't perfect" he said as I move him to the pan. "You'll be fine, whip up some sunny side ups" I patted his shoulder and went to Mirabel, "We'll just have to wait the noodles, then mix it with the flavoring and serve up with eggs and rice" I excitedly said as Mirabel chuckles.

"I never knew that you like to cook" Camilo shouted, "Only when they allow me in the kitchen yeah" I said walking to Camilo and looking at him fry the eggs, he looks at me and smirks.

"Are we gonna cook like this to our own familia?"
