"Ranny!" Tommy called out, waving as he jogged over to his 6'4 friend.

The two looked like a paired match, to the point it would look strange if one was without the other near.
Tom wore a white shirt that had been covered by the blue jumper and greying out trousers that seemed to use to be a cream camouflage colour.
Where as Ran wore plain blue trousers and a matching white hoodie over top of a pale cream shirt.

It was completely by accident.

"Hey Tommy, woah matching" the two paused, looking at their clothes then at the others
The two broke into laughter's and large smiles.

"Eyy!" Tommy fist bumped his mate. "We heading to the shops or lunch?"

"Lunch," Ran held his stomach. "I'm starving"
The two laugh slightly and begin walking down towards their favourite food stalls in town.
A long line of shops and cafes, as well as food stalls in the large square, and even fancy restaurants where all lined up around the end of the road, surrounding the little walk ways that lead back towards the main shopping centre and the large park to the side of it all.

"God it smells good" Ranny nods excitedly.

"Did you see the new superhero on the news?"

Tommy nodded slightly. "The one in the cringy outfit?" Ran nods as they go near to a taco stand and go into the short line of people. "I saw the comments, couldn't watch the video though"

"How come?" They where second to order now.

"Family was being annoying and really fucking loud, couldn't find my headphones and they wouldn't even help me find them," Tommy shrugged.

"That's rude" Ran shakes his head, looking at the food board for what to order: even though he always gets the same thing over and over.

"Nah not really, they where busy; I can't fault them for that" Tommy pointed at the board for his order, the person inside the van nodding and then writing down Ran's.

"I guess so, but still: it's just headphones" Ran shrugged. "Wait is that why you couldn't go to the new shops today?"

Tommy nodded, giving the man inside the money for his taco.

"So that's..." He paused, counting on his fingers. "Seven times now?"

Tommy nodded again. "Won't be surprised if they forget my birthday at this rate" He laughs, yet it's obvious that no real joy was there as he looked down at the floor.

"How about you come to mine for your birthday then?" Tommy nods, smiling and taking his taco as Ran took his own.

"Thank you,"
"Thanks"

The two walk away from the van, unwrapping their food and going towards their hidden bench in the park.

"Yeah, might do: then again may just rewatch the hero's journey" the two laugh, 'heros journey' had been an inside joke for the two for as long as they could remember.
It had started because a teacher had ment to out on the documentary of the first hero's but something else had played instead, safe to say the class no longer needed to go to sex-ed.

"Yeah yeah, but still: wanna watch the new hero's news report?" Tommy nods as they go underneath a group of large vines and walk along overgrown weeds.

"Definitely, still can't find my headphones anyway and the house is loud as fuck normally"

The two sit on a bench that over looks a small cliff, safe enough to roll down and not get hurt but still a big enough drop to cause small bruising when they do.
No one besides them have found this place, it had been their secret and their get away from life.

Their little bench...

"Now that's one fucked up hero" Tommy laughs out, scrunching up his taco wrapper and shoving it inside his trouser pocket.

"Definitely, like who says that?" Ran mimicked the 'hero' with his hand "I swear to protect all, blah blah blah"
The two only laughed out more, Tommy almost doubling over at the sight of Ranboo taking the mick out of someone his family will be working with; yet it was best not to say that.

"Oh my god hero's suck!" Tommy agreed with laughter.

"God, if I ever turn hero please shoot me!"

Tommy rested a hand on Rans shoulder. "Don't you worry dear citizen, I shall only shoot you if you'd do the same for me"
The two only laughing harder, completely unaware that both ment what they said to some extent.

"Ah yes, very well said Mr Villain man" the two shook on it, action as the snobby superheros they see on the new constantly.

"God, sometimes I'd love to be a villain" Tommy turned himself and lent himself against Rans side.

"You would?" Ranny looked down at him, keeping his arm on the back of the bench to keep him upright.

"Yeah: Sometimes definitely, other times not so much"

"True, true: not very fun to see them get caught and chained up"

"Good point, but I bet if we where villains, we'd get away with everything"

"Oh hell yeah, we would" Tommy kicked a hand out into the air with a smile. "We'd be the greatest villains the world has ever seen"

The two chuckled.

"What would our names be?" Tommy shrugged at Ran.

"You'd be called..." Tommy puzzled. "Bitch boy"

Ran gasped, acting offended and turning his head away quickly. "You're so rude!"
The two laughed again.

"Nah, you'd be... Ender" Tommy smiled, proud of the villain name he gave his best friend.

"Ooo, I like it!" Ran nodded quick to himself.  "You would be-"

"Nope, you're not naming me!" Tommy sat up and looked at him, giving him the sort of look when someone said 'hmm' and rised their eyebrows. "You can hardly name your pets"

"Not true, I have the perfect name for you"

"Oh really?" Ranboo nodded. "Go on then"

"I was thinking, Rouge"

"Rouge? As in vouge or the act?"

Ranboo shook his head, "as in the colour red"

"Hmm, not bad, I'll give you that"

"Ender and Rouge..." Tommy smiled to himself. "Has a nice ring to it, dontcha think?"
