Tommy sat on his bed, the present from ran left half way underneath his bed: peaking out just enough to grab at when he wants to do so; as well as enough that he has on multiple occasions stepped on the poor box.
When he returned no one had asked where he had been, or even said 'happy birthday' to him, let alone a simple hello.
But he was going to change that, he was going to prove Ran wrong: his family did love him. He knows they do, their just busy. Alot.

He sighs, looking at his phone: ignoring other messages that popped up and just staring at the messages from ran from his birthday.

He sighs, turning off his phone and turning it to face his pillow case.
He would prove him wrong.

Tommy opened his bedroom door, shutting it behind himself as he knocked on his dad's room: getting no response he just opens it up and looks inside.

Empty.

He groans and walked to his twin brothers room, he knocked on Wilbur's room first: finding it empty as well, so he knocks on Blades.

"Yes?" His brother called from inside.

"Where's dad!?" He called back, waiting outside.

"Kitchen,"

"Thank you!" And he moved away and went down the stairs toward the kitchen.

Tommy smiled slightly as he opened the door, revealing his dad with his head in a book
He only smiled wider as he walked past, and went to turn on the kettle, watching the blue glow turn to a deep red once again.

"Hey dad?" Tommy turned his head looking at the blond man who replied with a small 'hm?', "You have a clear schedule today, right?

"Yup, got today off; might be having tomorrow off also" Tommy grabbed the light blue cup from the cupboard above, smiling even wider then he had been before.

"Then do you think we could, maybe, go to town?" Tommy went to open up his fridge in the far corner of the kitchen. He looked at the couple of baby photos and the occasional reward from school still left to be held in place by the broken magnets that once again hadn't been replaced with incredibly needed new ones.

"Yeah, sure mate" Phil nodded, looking at Tommy as he made himself a cup of tea. "We can head out in the afternoon" the older blond man looked down at the black watch on his wrist. "Yeah, give me two hours and we can go"

"Okay!" Tommy smiled, bobbing on his feet slightly. "Thanks!" He rushed to finish making his tea, (knowing full well that he wasn't going to drink it all) and took the cup upstairs to get ready.

Having almost spilled the tea as soon as his foot reach the bottom of the stair, as well as being an inch away from face slapping straight into the hallway door, it was probably best that Wilbur grabbed his shoulder to slow him down.

"What got you so excited?" he huffed out, smile on his face as he lent against his shut door. "Did you finally get another friend besides the freak?"

"Take that back!" Tommy grumbled, even if the two weren't exactly on good terms at the moment; he wouldn't let his own brother talk bad about him. Only Tommy can do that.

"Chill mate, just kidding" Wilbur waved a hand at Tommy's face, looking away as Tommy huffed out. "Though he is a bit strange" Wilbur shook his head, crossing his arms and looking back at Tommy who held the cup of tea a bit tighter.

"Who cares what you think?"

Wilbur only stared down at the baby teenager. "Thanks for the cuppa," he went to reach for the cup, making tommy step back and turn to the side.

"Fuck off!" exclaimed, "This is mine, get your own!"

"now now tommy, learn to share!" Wilbur only pestered more, causing the two to grab onto the hot cup and tug at both sides.

"Fuck," he huffed, pulling with all his might backwards "off!"

"Why should I?" Wilbur copied Tommy, pulling harder then the smaller boy: which wasn't very much considering Tommy wasn't exactly the strongest of the family.  The two kept squabbling, pulling and tugging at the cup of tea, the hot liquid spilling about and dampening the floor.

"Because its mine!" Tommy stood up straight, causing Wilbur to fall backwards completely with the cup.

The large 'thump' echoed around the house as the tommy went quite, only to realise that the cup of tea had fallen with his brother and had spilt all over him. Wilbur screamed out, causing his twin to open his bedroom door and walk out to look at the two, as well as the sound of their father rushing upstairs.

"What happened?" he looked at Blade, who simply looked over at the laid Tommy who was standing above the tea covered Wilbur on the floor. "What did you two do!?"

"It was Wilbur's fault!" Tommy yelled and pointed at the fake sobbing boy that sat himself up.

"He poured tea over me, all because I asked why he was happy" Wilbur sniffed out, taking phil's hand and allowing himself to be lead to the bathroom to clean up and make sure he wasn't to badly burnt.

"Blade you heard everything, tell him the truth!"

"Leave it Tommy, " Phil warned, looking at Tommy who stood alone in the hallway.

"But thats not what happened!"

"Tommy." He groaned, looking back at Wilbur in the bathroom and walking towards his son.

Tommy only bit his lip, squeezing his hands into a tight fist to stop himself crying as he slammed his bedroom door shut: not caring about the yell he got for it, nor the tea that was still left spilt on the grey carpet outside his room. The boy only jumped onto his bed, hiding his face in his pillow, covering it in silent cries and screams.

He turned his face to the side, staring at the black screen on his phone. Normally, when him and Wilbur have an argument or do something to annoy the other, he'd message Ran - causing most of their conversations to lead to what the two siblings have done to hurt each other today. There was once when the two had a full day without any fights or bickering and Tommy had gone to Ran to say that he was definitely up to something, he just didn't know what.

Tommy only smiled at the memory, not wanting to talk to Ran about it as it would just prove his point more.

He wasn't mad at the boy, more so at himself for being so deep inn denial; but he'd never say that, he'd wait for Ran to come talk to him first.

"Tommy?" Phil opened the door ajar, looking at the boy who held his face in his pillow once more. "I've told Wilbur off, its only fair I tell you off also"

Tommy only sniffed, not looking to meet his dads eyes as he sat on the end of the bed.

"We can go to the shops tomorrow," he sighed, "That is if you still want to go with me?" tommy looked at him, nodding slightly. "Alright mate, you make a plan and we'll have a whole day of just us two"

"No work?" Phil nodded.

"No work,"

"You promise?" Tommy raised his pinky to his dad, looking as the older joined his own pinky with tommy's.

"I promise"
