Tommy sat in the back of the seat of a car, with no way out. He was alone besides the thought of having to slam the seat in front of him forwards and prying the door open, yet he doubted it would be a good idea considering the fact that Tommy was the one that had called them for help.
That and the fact that the two in front of him had just turned into a smaller motor way and left him no room to escape."So, you're Tom right?" Tommy nodded, keeping his eyes on the moving scenery to his left. "So uh," the man on the passenger side looked over at the driver. "You're Ran's friend right?"
Tommy stilled, yet gave a small nod.
"Okay good, thought the jerk gave the number to a rando for a second there," he gave a small chuckle, though it was obviously forced due to the awkward situation.
"How come you called?" The passenger looked over at him, tilting his head. "I mean, I'm glad ya did but still"
"Oh yeah," the diver piped up slightly, his voice a bit of concern "where's ya dad?"
Tom only moved his head away from the two asking questions, hiding closer to the seat belt.
"Oh"
"Shut up," Tommy muttered. "I-it wasn't like that... He was going to come, if I had just waited a bit longer he probably would have been there"
"Kid... how long where you sat there for?" The passenger gave a concerned look to the diver once more, then back at Tommy.
"Why does it matter?"
"We want to help you, but if you don't want to say that's fine" He put his hands up in defeat, turning back to the front. "Oh yeah, favourite song?"
Tommy looked at him and puzzled, only for the brown haired passenger to point at the small screen in the middle of the car that had a large mute button in the centre.
"Anything, I guess, I don't mind" he shrugged and looked away once more.
"Well then, wanna blast the hero's anthem with me?" Tommy's brows furrowed, yet a small flick of a smile was showing through.
"Oh god, not again, dude - this prick plays that song every single time we are in the car" the diver complained, groaning but still with a smile as he tilted his head back and light ginger fell onto the seat.
"You can't blame me, it's a good song!" A couple buttons pressed and the dorky song that explained each of the super heros powers and red-flags come on - causing the passenger to burst out in a full dance and sing his heart away.
He wasn't exactly bad at it, but he was clearly joking due to the ways he dragged and wavered his 'PoWERRS'."Oh, take my Hand, dontcha seee~"
The driver laughed out as the other man gave himself a hug and tried to turn in his seat.
"You can learn the hero's, one two and threE"Half way through the song, Tommy had even started to tap his feet and sing in a much lower volume to the car and the man infront of him.
For complete strangers, the two seemed nice.
At least, until the song stopped and Tommy had the dreading fear of 'where are we going?'"Damn that's a good song," the passenger man smiled and laughed out, his joy sounding like an excited bark, "can never get tired of it!"
"Well I certainly can," mumbled the driver again, shaking his head again and huffing out a small laugh.
Tommy smiled slightly and nodded his head. "Uhm..."
"Yeah?" The passenger looked behind to face Tommy. "What's up?"
"Where are we going and who are you guys?"
"Oh shit, right!" The driver snapped his head at the passenger then back at the road.
