The glistening whites of marble pillars and the smooth consistent shimmer in the clear glass almost seemed to glow with magic as the sun hit against it.
Around the building multiple people in suits or strange brown and black outfits stood - either talking or stretching in place. Some laughed loudly whilst others just spoke of work and the pay loads given.
Lukas moved through the crowds of people, some saying their hellos but all made no motion to try and ignore Tommy who toddled like a duck behind the brunette who was more or less the same height as himself.
"Uh, Lukas why are people staring at me?"
Lukas only chuckled, "it's not every day that a son of a superhero and a close friend of the sons boss would be here you know?"
"I guess that makes sense... You guys are villains and I'm... Well normal, wait boss?"
"Normal?" Lukas laughed more, walking through the open glass doors and into a large open hall that was littered with more people and two double stairs facing the doors. Inbetween the two stairs stood multiple metal doors - seemingly being an elevator shaft. "Kid, from what Boo tells us about you, you are nothing less then special"
To that Tommy smiled, beamed even.
"Heya' Fran, can you go bring down the boys for me?" Lukas waved over a smaller women, though as soon as he spoke she sped away to the elevator and blended in with the fifty or so other people near the area.
"The boys?"
"Yup, I'm guessing you'd want to see Ran and the others?"
"Ran... Wait others?"
"Tommy!" A voice called out, causing the two to look towards the elevator. "Oh my god!"
Ran stood, facing towards Tommy and Lukas before sprinting straight towards the two at full force.
"Ran-" he was cut off as slightly strong noodle arms wrapped around Tommy.
"I- I didn't think you'd come-" He smiled wide, tears clear in his eyes, hugging Tommy even tighter, "I thought you hated me-"
"Woah, calm- calm down there- you're crushing m-" Tommy crocked out, causing ran to push him away slightly so he didn't kill the boy.
"Oh- Sorry about that" Ran let go, rubbing the back of his head slightly. "Oh hey Lukas, how's Emi?"
Lukas only nodded at him, "parking the car, he'll be here soon; how's Bill?"
"Whose Bill?" Tommy looked between the two as they spoke.
"Oh, Bill is Ran's friend here at the base, genius little thing he is" Lukas explained, pointing over to the elevator and where a small boy was huffing and puffing to all those near to get out his way. "Got an attitude though,"
"Do y'know, how hard it is, to try and catch up to this bitch, when he's running?" He panted, as he neared, standing up fully and looking at Tommy with a seemingly unreadable expression.
"Bill, Tommy... Tommy, Bill" Ran's smiled and stepped away from the two slightly.
Tommy only looked up and down at Bill, openly expressing his disgust at the other boy, were as Bill was even more disgusted as he glared at Tommy.
"Anyway!" Lukas called out, drawing the attention from the boys and onto him, "how about we show Tommy here to the dean office?"
"Oh yeah! He needs to be confirmed" Ran clapped slightly and turned 180 to the right side hallway. "Let's go!"
He started to walk off, causing the three others to rush after him - Tommy and Bill openly trying to race each other by speed walking down the hallway of doors and people.
"Hey Tommy," Lukas called from behind them all, letting Tommy grumble a bit as he slowed down to be by Lukas.
"Yeah?"
"Why do you not use your powers?..."
