Safe to say, scrolling through Twitter is a fairly good distraction from your family all rushing about the house to try sort out their hero things and find things that were still sat inside the moving boxes.
Though, it's not that very good when all that's currently on Twitter is just videos and photos of a supervillain in a corny suit smashing a large hammer into buildings and saying things that Tommy couldn't hear as he didn't have his headphones in.
He sighed, restarting the video and pausing it so that he could dig into his pockets, looking for the headphones.
He desperately need them, if he wanted to try and cancel out the loud thumps and yells of names, only to find the headphones missing.

"Have you seen my hea-" Tommy lifted a hand as Blade ran past the sofa.

"Not right now Tommy!" He yelled and ran towards the living room boxes on the right of the wall.

"Alright," Tommy rolled his eyes and began walking towards the hallway where Toby was emptying out the box infront of the storage area. "Hey tubs have you seen my-"

"Busy at the moment!" He pulled out a folded up red cloth, "found your cape blade!"

"Okay, jeez" He rolled his eyes and went upstairs. "Hey Dad-" The man completely ignored him and dropped down the stairs, black wings helping him land with no worries of damage. "Bit rude innit"

He shook his head and stepped to avoid the broken open boxes and things over the side of the upstairs living room.
He had spotted Wilbur rushing in and out of Blades and his room, carrying boxes and other sorts of metal things.

"Hey wil," He trailed his older brother has he run back and forth, "know your busy and all that shit, but I gotta ask if you've-"

"Tommy, shut up!" Wilbur yelled at him, not noticing the way Tommy's lips slammed shut whilst a panicked face filled his head. "Just shut your mouth and stay quiet!"
Tommy nodded and turned away as the boy rubbed his brow and grabbed some thing off the hallway floor.

Tommy didn't look back as he slammed his bedroom door shut, slouching down and resting his back on it.
Tommy knows that Wilbur hadn't ment to use his powers on him, he does it all the time anyway. Just why didn't he remove it immediately?

Wilbur's powers work in a sense of if he says it and means it, it'll happen. And it just so happened that what he wanted was for Tommy to shut up completely.

He struggled as he tried moving his lips about, wiggling and trying to split where his lips has almost fused together. He had started to cry silently as he pulled at his bottom lip, not caring about the metal taste that was slipping into his mouth or even on his fingertips.

It had been about fifteen minutes since he noticed his headphones gone, and now he sat infront of his bedroom mirror preparing to perform surgery on his own lips.
He began to try make a small hole on the left side of his smile, wiggling and twisting the sharp scissors in to make a perfect seem and way to cut the skin.
Eventually the slit was made and he coul open his mouth once again, yet even as he screamed from stabbing the scissors just to far into the dead flesh no sound came out of him.

He through the bloody scissors down on his work desk, holding his mouth with his hands so he could stand up with little spillage.
He made his way to the bathroom, the one in parallel to the upstair living room area. He opened the door, paying to mind to the houses silence as he walked and left his blood covered hand prints on the handles.
The scene was as though the start of a horror movie, silence house with a child that was left bleeding to walk about it and leave it's prints everywhere.
Scary to some sense.

He applied a large amount of toilet roll over his mouth, biting half of it so it stayed over his lips until the bleeding stopped. He washed his hands down, as well as under his nails and the tap, sink, bathroom door-handle and even his bedroom handle and the scissors.
He left the sink running a fair bit before removing the paper and letting it glide itself to the toilet bowl.

Tommy plunged his whole head into the cold, water filled sink, staying under for near to thirty seconds before immediately lifting his head out.
His lips had healed themselves, it wasn't his power that caused it, just something that the family had figured out after Wilbur told someone to burn themselves once before.

He sighed, he knew his voice would return fully after a while yet even so, "it was like he didn't care"
Tommy shuddered, pulling out the sink plug and walking back to his bedroom.

He opened up the baby blue door, showing off the side of the oak wardrobe to the right of the door and the stack of shelves on his left. He sighed once more as he pulled down a small figuring of Wilburs Hero form.

'Symphony' is what he had called his alter ego, rocking a white shirt that had royal blue coloured sleeves. A red shirt that was covered in a large amount of bullet proof padding and even golden, detachable, buttons that Toby had made - the ones on the left caused smoke and the other caused explosions, safe to say he only used the left unless away from populated areas.
The large headed figure was stood as if it was on looking something in the distance, a hand over his eyes and the other going to grab a sword on his hip.

It had been a birthday present from the boy, a shit on now that he looked fully back on it.

He sighed and placed it back on the spot on the shelf and walked towards his bed pushed in the far corner, reaching for his phone that he had thrown onto his bed when grabbing the scissors.

'Two missed calls from 𝔹𝕠𝕠 𝔹𝕆𝕐'

"Shit," Tommy unlocked his phone, redialing the number and pacing in his room. "Hey man?"

"Hey Tommy, where are you?"

Tommy gave a small nervous laugh at the boy on the other end of the line. "Dad got busy and forgot about it all,"

"Oh, Well we can still hang out, right?" Tommy made a small 'uhuh' sound.

"Definitely, I can meet you near the alley if you want?"

"Gotcha, be there in ten"

"Cya Ran,"

"Bye Tommy"

Ran had been Tommy before friend for over two years now, well they had been online friends for much longer before that anyway, and the two where the biggest conflicts you'd ever meet.

Tommy was loud, some would say obnoxious even, where as Ran was seen as much quieter and more polite then his blond friend.
It was heart breaking for Tommy to hear what those strangers would say about them, they just  assumed that he was just a dumb blond: oblivious and spoilt, obnoxious and bratty. He wanted to prove them wrong, he begged himself to prove them wrong ; he doesn't mean to be annoying, he just wants someone to give him attention.

Either way, Tommy pulled on white trainers and a baby blue jumper and left the house.
