CHAPTER 3: Where are You?

Next day Jungkook reached college and searched for Taehyung but he didn't come. Jungkook even called him multiple times because usually if Taehyung took a leave from college, he told Jungkook in beforehand.

Everytime Jungkook called his number it was switched off. He thought that he might be busy or something so he went back to his home after college.

Next day as well Taehyung was not present. Now Jungkook started getting really worried about him. He has been trying to contact Taehyung since yesterday but all in vain.

He went to Taehyung's house that day to see if he was there only to find a lock on the main door of his house. He asked one of his neighbors.

The lady told him that yesterday evening she saw both Mr. Kim and Taehyung leaving their house along with some luggage. So the lady guessed if they went to their house in Daegu.

Jungkook became worried. If Taehyung was leaving for Daegu then why didn't he tell him about that. He always used to tell every single thing happening in his life to Jungkook.

Jungkook was now walking on the footpath in the cold winter evening. He was totally clueless what to do and what to not. Then he remembered his childhood bestfriend.

"Yes, I should take help of Jin hyung. He'll surely help me with it", with this thought Jungkook took out his phone and dialed Jin's number.

(On the call):

Jin: Hey Kookie!! What happened?? How did you remember that you have a best friend after ignoring me for whole 2 days in the college.

Jungkook: ( while sobbing) hy-hyung, I'm sorry about that but ... (sobs) but Taehyung is nowhere to be found since two days.... I---I searched for him everywhere and even called him multiple times but all my efforts are in vain...(breaks down into tears) I...I don...don't know what to.... do now......

Jin: (concerned voice) Kookie, don't cry... ok ok tell me where are you. We'll search for him together..

He told Jin where he was. After sometime he reached there and saw that Jungkook was sitting on the pavement of the road and sobbing while hugging his knees. Jin headed towards him and knelt down at his level lifting his chin up.

Jungkook was a crying mess. His eyes were red and puffy, tears trailing down his rosy cheeks and nose was red as hell. Jin's heart clenched seeing him in such a state. He immediately hugged Jungkook and caressed his head from behind.

After sometime Jungkook told Jin everything that had happened in two days. Jin made him stand up and asked him to take him to Taehyung's neighbor.

After reaching there, Jin asked the lady if she knew their address in Daegu. The lady thought for a while and then nodded her head in agreement. She went back into her house and came back with a paper slip with an address written on it.

Jin thanked the lady for her help and then took Jungkook to his car to drop him home.

He assured Jungkook that he will take him to Daegu tomorrow so he should take rest tonight. Jungkook thanked Jin and went inside his home.

Next day Jin took Jungkook to Daegu where they found out that the Kims have not been to their Daegu house since 3 years. So they had to return back to Seoul with nothing but disappointment.

Jin even asked about Taehyung from Jimin, Suho, Yoongi and his other classmates but none of them had any idea about his whereabouts. It seemed like he and his dad disappeared into thin air.
