CHAPTER 5: I Still Love You

Jungkook and Jin's eyes widened as soon as they saw Taehyung entering the meeting hall. For sometime, Jungkook's body became numb.

He wasn't able to process anything. The person who left him 2 years ago without saying anything, was now standing in front of him at a very successful position.

Yes, he's happy for him but he can't forgive him for leaving him like that; can't go readily back to him and hug him which he has been waiting to do since these two years. And also he has to be professional here, he's Jin's employee and he wasn't willing to disappoint him by any means, so he shrugged his thoughts away and focused on the meeting.

Jin also noticed uneasiness on Jungkook's face. He knew what Jungkook was feeling right now.

He puts his hand on Jungkook's hand to assure him and be professional. Jungkook understood that and gave a slight smile to Jin.

Taehyung didn't notice Jungkook and started the meeting. He introduced himself to everyone as the CEO of APharma Company and their willingness to buy shares of other companies to set up their market in Korea.

Some companies readily agreed with his proposal as APharma was a leading company in America while some didn't. The companies who didn't agree yet also included Kim's Pharma which Taehyung wanted at any cost as the company is most successful company in Korea.

Taehyung then noticed Jungkook sitting along with Jin who was the Ceo of Kim's Pharma. His eyes widened and his lips parted as if he wanted to say something but he didn't. He exhaled a deep breathe and then tried to persuade Jin.

" I know that my company is American and that is because its previous owner was American but I took over the company and now I want my company to flourish in my own country, so there's no way I'm an outsider. I'm Korean too."

Jin didn't seem to be buying whatever Taehyung said as if he had already decided that he's not going to give away his shares to APharma.

Jin consistently denied and then stood up from his seat. Jungkook and Namjoon also stood up and Jin and Namjoon left together, Jungkook also bowed to everyone in the meeting room and followed behind them.

Jungkook saw a frustrated expression on Taehyung's face while leaving but as soon as he left, Taehyung's expression changed into a smirk as he eyed Jungkook.

TWO DAYS LATER:

Jungkook has now decided to move on from Taehyung as he's now a successful person and moved on with his life, he didn't think that the CEO of a company would like to get back with his 'ex' boyfriend who is just a mere employee, which actually makes sense.

After completing his work at office, he went to the nearby shopping mart to buy some groceries. While he was pushing the cart and looking the products, his cart accidently hit someone from behind. He instantly apologised and bowed to the person, the person turned around and saw him.

It was Taehyung, his ex boyfriend. "JUNGKOOK!!", Taehyung called him.

He instantly turned around with his cart and started walking in the opposite direction as he didn't want to see him.

"Jungkook, listen to me", Taehyung let out to stop him. But Jungkook didn't listen to him and tried his best to avoid him.

Jungkook reached the billing counter asked the cashier to do his billing fast. Taehyung too reached there but kept quiet in front of the cashier.

As soon as Jungkook came out of the mart with shopping bags in his hand, Taehyung followed him. They both were now on the footpath by the side of the road.
