Chap 3

(Time skip to 3 days later. The city of Paris is bustling to get things ready for the day. People are decorating the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, and the Notre Dame. Adrien, Zoe, Nino, and Caline Bustier, which is her actual name, have all arrived in Paris and are settled in the hotel room they rented. They wanted to keep a down low, so they decided to do that. Marinette, Alya, and Chloe met up and had a sleepover before the big day. Mind you, Marinette and Hawkmoth have no idea about the ruby.)

At Chloe's house.

Marinette sighed as she stretched out on Chloe's bed. Alya was sitting on the floor typing furiously into her phone. Chloe was taking selfies, as always.

"Do you think we're going to be up against anyone worth fighting tomorrow?" Alya shrugged. "Kinda doubt it, Bustier's hero agency is getting weaker and weaker." Chloe let out a crazy laugh. "KINDA DOUBT IT? Bustier is an old lady. I bet she can't even go to the bathroom without help." The girls laughed.

The girls jumped on top of the bed and held one another's hands. "We're going to succeed. Then we'll finally get our badges." Marinette, Alya, and Chloe all looked at each other with a determined look. Even though they were the best criminals, they still hadn't gotten their criminal badges, to officially make them a part of the team.

They all got into their sleeping bags and fell asleep, eager for the next day.

At the hotel, Zoe was getting ready for bed in the bathroom while Nino and Adrien were wrestling. When Zoe came out, she gasped. She shook her head at them. Caline came into the room and saw their wrestling and went and stood next to Zoe. They glared at the boys and pointed their pointer finger at them.

"You guys need to stop!" Zoe exclaimed.

"Zoe's right. Behave yourselves young men."

Adrien and Nino were rolling over laughing. Zoe rolled her eyes at them. "Okay okay, we'll behave."

"Whatever. I'm going to my room." This caught the boy's attention.

"Wait, what?" Zoe smirked. "You heard me right. I'm going to MY ROOM."

"Why do YOU get your own room?" Nino asked. Zoe closed her eyes with satisfaction and folded her arms. Opening her eyes to a sly look, she said, "Because I'M A GIRL. And YOU are BOYS. I need my privacy." With that, she left the room. Adrien and Nino glared at her back.

The next day, it was full of procedures and drills for both sides. Marinette didn't get to see Alya and Chloe all day, and neither did Adrien get to see Nino and Zoe.

When the time had come to finally start getting into positions, everyone was ecstatic. Adrien had done a little research on Ladybug, only to find that there was barely anything at all.

Adrien frowned in frustration. He tried searching something else: Hawkmoth. Surely there would be something about her if he found her leader, right?

5 results popped up. He clicked on the first one, which led him to a picture of a hawk with a moth. He tried the other results. The last one showed a blurred picture taken of Hawkmoth in an escape attempt. Adrien smiled in delight.

He scrolled down to the section that showed all of Hawkmoth's recruitments. He frantically scrolled through the list of criminals when finally he got to who he was looking for. Ladybug:
