Ladybug swung into the hideout and ran into Rena and Queen Wasp. Dang, what's up with me and running into people today?

Queen Wasp put her hands on her hips. "Where have you been?! I swear to goodness we've been looking everywhere for you!"

"Well, you haven't been looking EVERYWHERE if you haven't found me," Ladybug replied spitefully. Queen Wasp narrowed her eyes on her. "Well, wherever you've been, the master needs you."

"Great, that's just who I needed right now," Ladybug said as-a-matter-of-fact. Queen Wasp rolled her eyes. "Go then!" With that, she took off.

Rena came face-to-face with Ladybug. Putting her hands on Ladybug's shoulders, she asked, "Is everything alright?" Ladybug nodded.

"Of course! Everything is just fine." Rena frowned. That's what she did/said when something was bothering her. But she knew better than to ask questions.

Ladybug made her way to Gabriel's office. "Ladybug! There you are! Where have you been these past couple of days??" He exclaimed. "That's for me to know and you to find out, sir."

"Sir? I don't like you keeping these kinds of things from me," Gabriel said.

"Like...secrets...?" Ladybug questioned.

"Yes, exactly like secrets," Gabriel sighed. He made his way to the door, and just as he was putting his hand on the doorknob, Ladybug spoke.

"You know, it's funny how you can keep secrets, but I can't."

Gabriel whipped around. "What?" He snapped.

"I mean, you have kept my parents a secret from me, but I have to tell you where I've been 24/7," she said in a strangely calm manner.

"How did you-"

"I head, Mr. Gabriel Auguste. I heard you talking. And now I know the truth, you big fat liar. I know the truth, and I'm going to find them." Ladybug shoved her way past him and completely out of the Academy.

"Blast it!" Gabriel yelled, punching the door. "Nooroo, Dark Wings Rise!!"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Adrien walked impatiently down the street. He was going to find a clue. Something caught his attention. It was unmistakable, a paper with a girl who had bluebell eyes: Marinette.
It was a 'Missing Person' poster, Adrien saw as he approached it. Sure enough, it was Marinette on the poster. There was a number to contact if anyone saw her.
Adrien dialed in the number to his Miraculous Phone. It rang a few times, then a woman picked up.
"Hello?"
"Yes, is this Marinette's mom?"
"Yes! Yes it is! I'm Sabine Dupain-Cheng. And you are?"
"I'm Adrien."
"Hello, Adrien."
"Hello, I have news about your daughter."
"You do? Oh that's wonderful! Come to this address."
Mrs. Dupain-Cheng sent him an address.
"I'll be there in 5."
"Thank you so much!" Mrs. Dupain-Cheng hung up the phone.
5 minutes later~~~~~~~~~~
Adrien knocked on the door. Sabine gratefully welcomed him in. "Have you found our daughter?" Sabine asked.
"Well, sort of. I met her at a cafe, and we talked for a while. I don't know where she is now though."
Sabine looked down sadly. "But, I was wondering if I could ask you something about her kidnapping." Sabine looked up.
"It was a wretched night. Tom! Could you please come here?" A tall big man entered the room and sat on the couch.
"Tom and I were closing up the shop and were about to say goodnight to Marinette when we heard a crash and a scream.
We raced to her room, only to find the man disappear with her." Sabine laid back, obviously trying to hold in tears. Tom rubbed her arm reassuringly.
"Do you know who took her?" Adrien asked.
"Of course we do young man," Tom said, "I mean, how could we not recognize Paris' most wanted criminal?"
Adrien's breath caught in his throat.
"He took her and raised her up to be one of his own, the best. He transformed her into a feared criminal everywhere: Ladybug" Tom explained.
Adrien was taken aback. How? He thought.
"You're probably thinking, how can this be?"
"That's exactly what I'm thinking, are you sure it's her?"
Sabine sat up. "Of course! We'd know our daughter ANYWHERE."
Adrien slowly nodded. "Mr. and Mrs. Dupain, I WILL bring your daughter back. I will make sure that you are reunited.
"Thank you, Adrien." Mrs. Dupain-Cheng said.
Adrien left with a determined look.
