Chapter 6

"Lunch was lovely, thanks Mumbo!" Grian shouted as he went to go find Pearl.

It was nearly two after he and Mumbo finished lunch, they had gone for a picnic. They ate cucumber sandwiches and chocolate chip cookies. It was quite pleasant, they talked about many things despite the incident that happened the day before.

"Pearl!" He announced his arrival while still walking up to her, "Can I talk to you?"

"Yeah,I needed to talk to you anyway." she was fiddling with something in her pocket, "Let's talk inside."

She invited him into her starter base.

"What's up man?"

"So I was wondering how you got out of evo? Did they take you? They promised they would keep you guys safe. What happened after I left?" He questioned quickly, "Didn't they kill you? I watched you die!" He continued.

"Grian calm down I'm fine, yes they took me. Remember that they lied? Yes they killed me and I'm sorry you had to see that, but they can revive people and I don't want to talk about what happened after you left." She responded with a sigh.

"You look like death, are you ok?"

"I'm fine just haven't been able to get to sleep."

She left the room and Grian took that as his chance to leave. Walking home it was dark out so he sped up
