Y/N's POV

"Wait, Y/N!" I turn around to see Camilo grabbing my wrist, stopping me. Wow.. he is strong. WAIT NO, STOP IT Y/N! Pull yourself together. You're acting like a fool.

"Camilo, do you need anything?" He then let's go of me and I just stand there staring at him. "Uhm.. yeah. Your necklace, fell. Here." Camilo handed me the necklace my Abuela gifted me before her death. Under that, I also wore the necklace Camilo gifted me.

"OH! Thank you, Camilo! I love you!" I waved at him and ran to Señora Julieta. Wait.. what did I say to Camilo? OH NO. NO, NO NO NO NO. I'M DOOMEDDDDD!!! I stared heating up and didn't look at where I was going. Before I reached the last step, I slipped and fell on the bare floor. Then, a crate fell on my back. Just my luck!

"Oh, sorry Y/N. That ones a trouble." Luisa apologized and she went on with her day. I just got up, cracking my back. I told Señora Julieta that I would be moving into my cottage. I'd still be seeing them, just not when I wake up or sleep. She hugged me tightly and I grabbed my suitcase I forgot to unpack at their house before the festival started. I had 3 minutes so I ran as fast as I could. I reached there in about 30 seconds! That's a record. I quickly dropped all my stuff and put on a dress my mother wore when she attended the winter festival. It was pretty! My mother told me she met my father there, they were dancing in the snow and stuff.. that's a beautiful way to meet.

Wow.. I mean it was pretty but people would think I'm from the dinosaur ages. I just sigh and put it on. My hair was already done but it looked a bit messy so I brushed it quickly. Lastly, I put on a pearl headband and earrings and I was ready to go. When I went outside, I saw little kids running around from a distance. I then ran, hoping I wouldn't trip because I had heels on. I finally arrived, it was all so pretty. I saw Mirabel handing out candy to little kids and adults dancing together. I gulped in nervousness and made my way to Mirabel and Isabela.

"Mirabel, you look pretty! So do you Isa." I complimented both girls and they looked at with wide eyes. Isabela smiled gently at me and made a rose to put in my hair. I blushed. When Isabela does that, that means she thinks you're pretty. Mirabel hugged me and complimented how my hair was, and how I looked basically. Even though my short hair was pretty, I still missed my long hair. Señora Pepa and Señor Felix came up to me.

"Y/N! You look so pretty, dear!" Señora Pepa had a rainbow across her head.

"Thank you!"

"Oh, Y/N. How's Camilo? Is he being rude to you?" Señor Felix tried to make it not so awkward.

I took a deep sigh then replied,
"To be honest, Camilo is..." I took a pause to see what he was doing. Not surprised, he was flirting with other girls. "You need to put a leash on him. He's always teasing, pulling pranks and flirting with girls! He's basically playing them. I'm sorry but sometimes, your son isn't a gentleman." I blurted out. Señor Felix looked at me for a few seconds then laughed.
"OH Y/N HAHA! That boys haywire! Every time he's grounded and not in my room, I'm not surprised. Glad you have the same opinion as me!"

Sadly, Señor Felix is very loud so when he said that, Camilo looked at where the voice was coming from and we made eye contact. I felt bad for Dolores honestly. Having such a loud dad and annoying brother. He winked at the girls before walking over to me, Señora Pepa and Señor Felix. His parents were also walking up to him but I faced the other direction. I did not want to be embarrassed during the best night of winter. I felt something hard hit my nose. And yes, it was the box of crates again. Luisa apologized and ran to help another person.

I got up quickly before anyone could notice me and just my luck, AGAIN. I turned around to bump into someone. It was Camilo. "You okay, Y/N?" He put on a smug face, he didn't want to tease me infront of his parents so he acted like he cared for me.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Also stop acting like you care!" I rubbed my hit nose. Camilo looked at my outfit up and down and said, "You dress like an abuela, you know that." I just sighed and was going to leave until Camilo grabbed my hand. I tried walking away but his grip was too strong. I just groaned in frustration and looked at Camilo's smirk.

"Ah ah ah, we still have to talk chica." He then pulled me to a less crowded area and he let go of my hand. Man, he's strong, my hand hurts like crazy. He then leaned against a wall with crossed arms.

"Youuu," he pokes my forehead while pointing at me. "Earlier today, you said you loved me. Princesa, you remind me of that crazy girl, Amber. If you want to say you love me, you can say it but that confession would go in my other piles of confessions I've gotten from other girls. Hm?" He raised his eyebrow. I sighed and groaned,

"Look, Camilo. I said that by accident! And don't compare me to Amber! We are not the sa-"

"Believe whatever you want chick. Now don't stay there too long before the party ends." Camilo just left me there. I was angry and I ran and followed him.
