Y/N's POV

"Oi, Y/N!" A boy called out. I recognized that voice before. When I turned around, it was my childhood crush, Robert.
"Sup, Rob!" I fake smiled. After the fight between me and Marco, Robert took Marcos side because he was afraid of what Marco would do. After a while, Rob apologized to me and I accepted. I was still pissed at Rob though.

"Woah, you changed after 13.... OH yeah, here are s-some flowers I bought you.." Rob pulled out roses. I stared at the flowers in disgust. I loved roses, but I didn't want them from Robert Rovenville. I took them and after he was gone, I threw the roses and stomped on them.

I hear a knock on my door. I was irritated because the knock could've been quieter. My parents and Abuela are asleep! If they find out I'm sneaking out with Mirabel, they will kill me! I quietly open the door, and death glare at Mirabel. Mirabel understood why I did that and she apologized quietly. I get my bag that has everything ready and me and Mirabel run to her Casita. When we arrived, we quietly opened the door. Mirabel put me behind her and there, we sneaked upstairs.

"Casita!" Mirabel quietly yelled.
The casita set us stairs and we quietly walked on them. I got a flashlight and was looking around to see if anyone was there. Mirabel took my hand and took us to Bruno's door. As soon as we were going to go in there, we heard a loud gasp. Señora Pepa saw us trying to sneak in the room.

"Are you guys insane!? YOU CAN NEVER GO PAST THAT DOOR! And you know better, Mirabel!"

A thunderstorm went around Mirabel and I and the cloud started raining. Mirabel and I were all wet and we both just looked at each other in embarrassment and failure. Señora Pepa started repeated clear skies all over again and I looked at Señora Pepa in confusedness. Señora Pepa allowed me to sleep over at Mirabel's nursery only if we told Abuela. Luckily, Abuela was awake downstairs. If we woke Abuela up while she was sleeping, we would've been in so much trouble. Abuela agreed and told my mom if it was okay. My mother agreed and I spent the night at the Casita. I woke up to Mirabel shaking me.

"..? What?" I said, groaning.

"Y/N! Look outside!!" Mirabel carried me up and then she ran downstairs.
"Castita!"

She put me down and I looked outside at the huge building. Then Mirabel and I realized, that was SCHOOL?

"Man.. not this again.." I groaned in frustration.

"OMG OMG Y/N, IF ABUELA AND MY PARENTS AGREE THAT I CAN GO TO SCHOOL, I CAN FINALLY HANG OUT WITH YOU EVERYDAY THERE EEEEE!!" Mirabel's squealing woke Camilo up.

"Mirabel, Es demasiado pronto para que estés chillando." Camilo groaned. Camilo noticed me and let out a big smile.

"Buenos Dias, Y/N~" Camilo went up to me, bowed his head slightly, and kissed the back of my hand.

"CAMILO!" I quickly take my hand and put it behind my back. Camilo then went over and saw the big building outside.

".. school?" Camilo squinted his eyes to make sure he saw that right.

"CAMILO WE HAVE TO TELL ABUELA TO LET US GO!" Mirabel tried to drag Camilo but he just stood still.

"Is Y/N going?" Camilo questioned.
"Yeah, I'm going." I replied.
"THEN WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR LET'S TELL ABUELA!" Camilo followed Mirabel as she dragged him.

What an idiot. I chuckled quietly.

"Alright, everyone meet outside for breakfast!" Abuela called out.

Time skip when everyone is out and eating breakfast

"Alright, I decided that Luisa, Mirabel, Camilo and Antonio will be attending school tomorrow. Y/N is already going, any questions?" Abuela announced.

"I do." I raised my hand.

"Go ahead dear." Abuela let me talk.

"What about Isabela? I think she should also go too!" I fiercely said.

"Isabela's already busy. She's going to get engaged very soon! And Dolores will also not be attending. School has a bunch of yelling chaotic kids! It will be hard for Dolores and damage her." Abuela got up and glared at me with death eyes.
"Any other questions?"

It was quiet.

"Carry on with breakfast."

Abuela sat back down and it was noisy. Señora Pepa put ear plugs on Dolores's ears.

While Mirabel and I were talking about how fun it'd be to be at school together, Camilo and Luisa were talking about me being at school. I didn't really care, as long as it isn't something bad. When we finished breakfast, Camilo grabbed my hand just before I was going to leave to my cottage. I questioned him what he wanted and he told me he wanted to gift me with something. He put on a red bow necklace around my neck. I turned red but it wasn't very visible. I lightly slapped Camilo.

"Stupid. Thank you.." I then turned around and ran out with embarrassment and I held onto the necklace. When I arrived at my cottage, I saw everyone surrounding it. I went pass the huge crowd and saw it on fire. I was in horror. Wait.. ABUELA! MOM! DAD!!

"MY FAMILY ARE IN THERE! SAVE THEM SOMEONE!" I cried out while screaming. People were calming me down but I still kept yelling and trying to run in, but Robert was holding me down. I then stared at Rob and slap him with all my anger. He fell 6 feet away from us and I had the chance to go in. Until I saw the fire was out... is my family okay? PLEASE! I NEED TO KNOW!

A police officer confronted me.

"Are you Y/N L/N?"

I nodded my head, the police officer took off his hat and put it on his chest.

"I'm sorry to say... they sadly passed away in the fire."

I stared at the cop with shocked eyes. I fell on my knees and the cops were trying to separate the crowd so they could leave. I just stared at the ground. Wow... and I wasn't there to say my last words.. how selfish am I? How stupid could I have really been.. Mamá, Papá, Abuela... I'm sorry... I'm sorry I couldn't be there to hear your voice for the last time..

My eyes were blurry because of the tears filled in my eyes. A police officer was trying to calm me down but I finally broke down in tears. I cried and cried and screamed as loud as I could. Why wasn't I there. WHY!? WHY ME! WHY! WHY DO I HAVE TO BE THE ONE WITH BAD LUCK!?

The entire Madrigals heard me, Camilo was shocked and wanted to see what's going on. So did Mirabel and Luisa but only Abuela, Señora Pepa, and Señora Julieta ran to me. After they heard what happened. Abuela just stood there in shock. She quietly cried as she thought of my mother as a daughter. Señora Pepa and Señora Julieta cried along with me. Señora Julieta can't heal my family because she came too late. They are already dead.. I hugged both of my Señoras and they both kissed me on the cheek. A cloud surrounded Señora Pepa and they took me to the Casita. I eventually stopped crying but I was too numb to speak...
