A/N: This was made in News Years Eve but it's a draft to post on New Years because I can't make a chapter tomorrow because of my dads birthday, January 1st. But, HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!

Camilo's POV
December 31st, 2021

It was 5 minutes into the count down. I just finished getting dressed and Mamá waited for me furiously. I apologized and she just sighed. "Camilo, today's very important. It's going to be New Years for heaven sakes! It's already, 11:55 pm." Mamá said, panicking. 11:55!? I DIDN'T EVEN REALIZE! I planned something with Y/N! She doesn't know my plan but I want to do it almost when the countdown ends. I see everyone doing something to prepare except me. I sit on the stairs as Papá tries to calm Mamá down. Wait.. where even is Y/N..? I'm going to go find her.

Y/N's POV

"TIÓ MARQUIS HURRY UP! Do you not know how to tie your tie? I'll do it for you!" I storm off to help my uncle with his tie. This grumpy old man is 25 and his 15 year old niece has to do it for him! Honestly, what can't he do? I then sigh and look at a mirror to fix my hair. My Tió notices and sighs. "Girls, I guess. Look, Y/N. You look beautiful even if a tiny strand is sticking up." He then adjusts my pearl headband and I cross my arms making a outing face. "Tió! This day is important. It's New Years Eve, and the Madrigals are probably waiting for us." Tió then gently pats my head so my hair wouldn't be messed up and I put on my heels. Tió puts on his shoes and he follows me to the town.

"Tió~ I can't wait! We are going to eat Señora Julieta's pamazing arepas and then BOOM POW fireworks! And then we are going to dance, and new yearsssss!!!!!!!" I start spinning around and my Tió smirks. "Slow down, you don't even know what will happen next." We then make it there at 11:58 pm. I see Mirabel and ran to hug her. Mirabel looked me then my dress and hugged me back. "You look stunning, Y/N! Oh, 2 more minutes until New Years. Come in! Camilos inside waiting~" Mirabel says in a flirtatious way and I elbow her gently while blushing. My Tió raises an eyebrow and I shrug with a huge smile on my face.

Time Skip to 11:59 pm

Everyone gathered up and Tió Marquis and I were squished by all the people cheering. I saw Mirabel and Camilo drag me out the crowd and put me next to the Madrigals. I watched the crowd as I squeezed onto Mirabel and Camilo's hands.

Then, the timer ended. It was quiet but then the crowd let out a scream and fireworks blasted everywhere. Camilo grabbed my face to look at his direction and then I looked at him blushing. Before I could say anything, he kissed me on the cheek while the fireworks blasted everywhere.

It really was a New Years, huh Camilo? You idiot, I like you...
