Crystal Waters

I woke up early this morning, earlier then everyone else. I laid in my bed as I let Jay cuddle me and pull me in by the waist. Letting him nuzzle his nose into my hair so he could smell it in his sleep. Letting his legs tangle with mine, his leg hair brushing against my skin.

I wait for five minutes before sitting up and strolling out of bed. I grab the nearest towel, a blue beach patterned wave style and threw it over my shoulder. I quietly pulled down the door handle and watched as the door loosely opened. I closed it behind me not making any noise.

I walked down to the bathroom. Opening the door gracefully and closing it. I undressed myself after turning the shower on, on to it's boiling point.

I stepped in the boiling shower, letting it's running water tickle my skin.

I hissed as it touched the bruises and cuts from metaphorical battles. I sucked in the pain and embraced it.  

I cleansed myself fully and washed my hair. 

I stepped out of the shower then turning it off. I wrapped a towel around me like a dress. I let my arms cool off from the burning. 

I strolled over to the mirror and brushed my teeth until blood started to drip from my gums. I checked every square inch of my mouth for cleanliness. I wished some mouthwash around in my mouth, gurgled then spat. I took face cream and applied. 

I waited and waited and felt my face burn from the cream being left on too long. I washed my face again, scrubbing as hard as I could.

I left the bathroom and went back to Jay and I's bedroom. 

As I opened the door and closed it again from where I was standing Jay was still asleep. I grabbed my GI that was sitting tidily on my chair. I threw it over my lingerie.

I sprayed myself in deodorant making sure I still didn't stink. 

I sat down at my desk and tilted the mirror so I could see my unattractive face. I used foundation to cover my beauty mark and scars on my cheeks. I grabbed the nearest blue scrunchie and slid it onto my wrist. I grabbed a bamboo brush and brushed my curly wet hair. 

When my knots were all de-tangled and my hair started to dry and frizz up I put my hair into a neatly tied ponytail.

I stood up again, tucking my chair under and once again, I left the room.

I checked the clock on the wall by all the portraits and pictures.

It was only 09:34.

I knew Zane and Pixal would already be up and in the kitchen and Wu would've just been waking up by now.

I walked into the kitchen to be treated by the smell of Zane's pancakes.

 "Good Morning Nya, would you like some pancakes before the others decide to wake?" Zane asked.

I don't have a big appetite so I politely declined and shook my head no. 

Instead I treated myself to a glass of orange juice. I got a glass cup from the shelf above my head and placed it on the counter. I took the orange juice out and poured it, perfectly so I didn't spill a drop.

Once I finished I placed the juice back into the fridge and took my cup and left the kitchen.

I went down into the work shop to work on the vehicles. I placed the cup down on a work desk as I entered. I pulled my motor cycle out from one of the stands and placed it on its side on the floor.

For half an hour or so I worked on the vehicle, kicking something if something went wrong or something didn't feel right.

As I stood back up I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist.

"And where have you been hiding all morning?" A familiar voice purred. I lifted my head too see who the "stranger" was.

"I wasn't hiding, I was doing things." I responded, endorsing Jay's hug. "And by things do you mean hiding?" Jay joked.

I let out a small giggle and pushed his arms above my body to break the bond of the hug. Jay faked scoffed and left the room, taking my orange juice with him.

I continued to work on the motorcycle, fixing all the parts and moving machinery around.

What caught my attention is when I noticed a huge cut on my hand. I looked at it as the blood dripped down my arm.

Drip.

Drip.

The blood didn't stop rushing out.

I smiled and continued with the work, ignoring the pain even if it hurt too bad.

"Uhhh Nya! We got a problem in Ninjago City! Get up here, and fast!"
