Dabi carefully rubbed the sleep out of his eyes once he finally woke up. Her bed was so comfortable- he genuinely felt like he had properly rested for the first time in at least a few months. His mind flicked back to the memory of a particularly comfortable night on a tossed out sofa, but this bed was better. He looked around the room and jumped in his skin a bit when he heard a sudden puff of air out of her humidifier. Morning light pushed gently through the slots in her linen curtains, casting shadows and adding to the warm ambience. Where had she gone? A deep sigh left his lips before he swung his legs to sit on the edge of the bed and glanced down, finding that he was still naked.
They had managed to take a shower last night, their bodies loose in the steam and enveloped in laughs and wandering hands and kisses, but he didn't bother getting dressed afterward. They were warm enough under the covers with one another without adding any more flimsy fabric. Besides, he wanted to feel her. He remembered falling asleep with one arm slung over her waist, cupping her breast like some kind of stress ball. A tiny smile pulled at the corners of his mouth as he clutched the sheets. There was quiet music coming from the hall- it had to be her. He stood up, peering around any sign of the items he'd entered her space with. He searched high and low, but he couldn't find them. Has she taken my fucking clothes? He furrowed his brows before he came around the corner, one large hand going to cover himself as best as he could, though tufts of white hair leading up to his bellybutton were just a bit too unruly to hide.
"Hey, Bypass!" He snapped, eyes narrowed as he stomped down the dimly lit hallway. They softened as soon as they found her in the doorway to the living room, holding a basket of clean laundry- his laundry- in front of her chest. She was wearing some black panties that sat high on her hips and waist with a cropped black t-shirt that had been torn off at the bottom. "Hi." She breathed, cheeks flushed. He could see the little freckles that sprinkled over her nose like constellations in the night sky, made more visible in the daylight. Her hair was in another one of those messy buns again, a few stray strands of (h/c) framing her face. "I washed your clothes, they were bloody." She bent over to set the basket down before her eyes roamed over him from his feet upwards until she giggled a little at his hand placement.
"Did you, uh... not see the new boxers I left you on the bed?" She let herself fall to the side a bit before catching her weight with her forearm against the doorframe, lip tucked between her teeth as she continued to stare. She couldn't help but squeeze her thighs together a bit, memories of the previous night washing through her head. How had he missed a pair of boxers? "No," he grumbled.
"Mm." She picked the basket up again before stepping closer to him. "I left them on my side of the bed... I've got extra new clothes downstairs in case patients ever need them so I took the liberty of checking your sizes and getting you something that would fit. They're there, go look."
He narrowed his eyes at her again before he snatched his now bloodstain-free t-shirt from the top of the folded laundry. "Don't look at my ass," he rumbled before turning around and shuffling back to the bedroom. She let out a soft exhale and turned on her heel, switching her hips before she took herself into the living room... or so he thought.
"I can show you, if you want..." She said, suddenly and silently appearing behind him. Her voice made a shiver run down his spine. "I think I can find a pair of--" A bundle of black fabric suddenly flew over his shoulder and onto the floor. He inhaled sharply, stomach tightening as soon as he felt the heat of her breasts against his back. "Oh, baby..." The words came as more of a groan than anything else, vibrating in his chest as her hands snaked over his abdomen, one sweeping under his arm to hold his shoulder, the other gently grasping around his throat as she kissed up his neck.
