She'd hardly moved from her throne atop him when the sun came up. She was a noisy sleeper- not necessarily a snorer, but she made sweet squeaks and hums in her sleep when she'd adjust her hips or nuzzle in closer to his warmth. It took a moment for the reason to dawn on him. He'd not been this close to another human for... well, ever, that he could actually remember, and sometimes, it was easy for him to forget that he was effectively a human heating pad. There was no clock in the room that he could see and he wouldn't dare move her from her spot to grasp his phone from his jeans pocket. Her fingers trembled against his skin as he looked down at her. It was all so very peculiar- she was touching so much of him again, so settled and comfortable as she breathed quietly. Smaller hands clutched to him for dear life, like he was the center of everything. He took his time drawing his fingers up from where they had rested behind her back to lace into her soft hair. His black painted nails scratched gently at her scalp, hoping that she might wake up from the stimuli so he could talk to her.
Talk to her?
Jesus fuck, what was wrong with him? He pulled his hand away from her and sighed. This was such a bad idea, but God, it felt too good. It felt good to be the center of someone's world, especially someone that he thought was so beautiful, so clever, so warm. She said she was selfish, right? If somebody could be as lovely as she was and be selfish, he could be, too, couldn't he? Fuck it. He moved his hand to massage the back of her neck before he pressed a chaste kiss to the top of her head. "Hey," he cooed, moving her hair back out of her face. "C'mon, you've gotta tell me how you're feeling." There was a moment where she just shifted ever so slightly in his arms, trying to decide if she wanted to talk back to him or just continue to sleep. She grumbled against him, grasping the sheet and pulling it over her shoulders. "No." Her sleepy voice made his stomach tense.
"No?" Dabi questioned, a smirk pulling at his lips before he ran his hand down her back. She let out a soft, silky moan as she felt him grasp a firm handful of her ass, kneading gently to supplement the sweet kisses he pressed to the crown of her head. "No, I'm sleeping." She reiterated as she pushed herself against his hand. "Even asleep, you're this mouthy?" His chuckle escaped as a low rumble from deep in his chest, vibrating against (Y/N)'s skin. "Always, Dabi..." she muttered, attempting to untangle her legs from him and roll onto her other side, but he stopped her. He could get used to listening to her say his name in that voice.
His scarred hands were like vices, locking her down against him. "Headache?" He asked, and she finally tilted her head up to look at him with tired eyes. Dark lashes fluttered as she blinked at him. "No, just comfortable," she said, and he loosened his grip just a hair. "What did you get up to last night?" His fingers traced over the curves and edges of her face. She let out a sigh as she leaned into his languid touch. "Went out for drinks and karaoke... might've overdone it on the tequila. How did you get in?" She sat up before she peered up at him, her eyes flashing down to his hips as if to ask permission. He nodded, and she moved to straddle across him before resting her chest down against him. "You don't remember me coming in?" If she didn't, he would count himself truly amazed at the fact that she didn't question why he was in her bed. He lifted his eyebrows as he stared down at her feeling himself twitch in his boxers and swallowing deeply. His throat felt incredibly sticky.
"No, I do. I remember showering and you being in bed." She answered, her tone still full up on fatigue. "I remember climbing into bed and falling asleep really fast. I felt pretty sick before I got home, but I think the shower sobered me up." The memory of her in the shower flickered through his brain, all the things she said and all the things he was hoping for making the twitching in his boxers far more unbearable than it previously was. Her hips shifted against him and he reached down to cup her ass again, nodding. They sat in silence, breathing softly against one another in the comfort of the cosy room. The sun wasn't all the way up yet, and it cast shadows of the plants on the walls- dark leaves painted over his face and her smooth back. Their own little forest. He sighed and squeezed her a bit tighter, earning himself another sleepy mewl from her plush lips.
