"So, basically," Yoongi started, "Otsu's our son. Biological son."

"That's possible?" My eyes fluttered awake, all mentions of food leaving my brain as I considered how two males could have a baby.

"Yeah, I was surprised when I heard it for the first time too. All thanks to Adonis' research in this field. Just about a decade back, he made the most advanced incubator for test tube babies—to let same sex couples become parents. Biological Parents." Woah. How on earth did this never make the headlines, but Father missing the Annual Food Harvest did.

"So basically, guys have spermatocytes. The genes in it, the diploid chromosome that splits into two is of the genetic combination XY. This cell undergoes meiosis and splits into 4 sperm cells—two with an X chromosome and 2 with a Y chromosome. By extracting our respective sperms from our semen in a laboratory, these cells can be artificially combined. They fuse together like they would in regular fertilisation and the fused zygote is placed in the womb of a surrogate where it develops like any other baby. So nine months later, the baby that you get is the actual son of me and Hoseok biologically, just birthed by a surrogate mom. It's quite a thriving practice these days, a number of gays have gone for it and gotten their babies."

"Whoa, that's so- like, how is that even possible, like, it's so cool, I can't believe it isn't more popular. I'm really really glad for the two of you though." Despite misogyny remaining since the beginning of creation, homophobia had nearly been eradicated, with nearly 50% of the world population being bisexual. At least, no one looked down on them anymore, or treated them discriminatorily.

"Thank you, we're extremely happy too. Blessed even. For nearly 2300+ years, never could two men have had and raised their own son, a product of their genes. We're amongst the first to get such an opportunity. And we couldn't possibly be more thankful and delighted," a beaming Hoseok said.

"Yep, the only downside is for women, they can't have sons. Well not a biological son between them. A male's genetic combination is XY but women don't produce the Y cells. So, unless, we manage to figure out how to convert an X cell into a Y one, only daughters for the time-being," Yoongi elaborated.

"You seem to know quite a lot on how this works."

"Oh well. Nine months was plenty of time to study how exactly my little delight is going to be born. And I couldn't be more grateful that he's happy, healthy and he's Otsu." Yoongi looked ready to tear up but calmed down when Hoseok patted his back.

Inhaling deeply, he continued, "I know this sounds dumb, but even though he's barely 2 months old, it feels like he has his own personality, he never cries, he's so peaceful and fun to be with, all giggles and laughs, my philosophy must have worked for he never seems tired," Yoongi chuckled and Hoseok smiled fondly at his husband.

"So where do I come in," I asked, curious of why Yoongi brought me home to share this news. "Unless, of course, you just wanted me to meet Otsu."

"No, not that," Yoongi shrugged, "well that too, but, you see, if we want him to truly grow up healthy, he's gonna need a mother's milk. Breast milk."

"Yoongi, I haven't given birth yet that my body'll secrete it," I joked.

"I know, it's just, you produce it only when a hormone is released in your body–Prolactin is its name. So if we artificially inject it, your body will start producing milk too."

"So...you want me to breast-feed Otsu?"

"Pretty much, yea," he let loose a goofy smile. His signature gummy one with small teeth showing neatly.

"I know, I know, I'm crazy, this is horribly inappropriate of me, but you're the only woman I know and whom I'm close with, close enough to ask this. Besides, you were always excited to be around babies so I thought you might enjoy it as well. Otsu's the most well-behaved gentleman under two you'll find in this country."
