Teyvat was moving forward with great changes with the flow of time. Old faces started to wear down, and new and youthful energy are starting to grow in Teyvat like a fresh blow of spring.

At the hands of the statue of the Anemo Archon was a small body dressed in green and white. He looked at the outstretched city of Mondstadt with a smile on his face. Time has not touched his mortal body, and the fire in his eyes seems dim despite his smiling exterior.

"A new day in Mondstadt, I wonder what new and fun things will happen today?" He muttered before standing up. But suddenly, there was a voice that caught his attention.

"SIR! PLEASE STOP THAT CAT!" He looked behind him and found a young girl in foreign clothes, looking his way and pointing at the cat that was running up to him.

"This-" He seemed to snap out of his thought but was already too late, He caught the cat that jumped straight to his arms as he took one step back, falling from the statue.

"NO!"

His eyes zoned out as he felt the caress of the wind behind him, but his eyes refocused on the person that chased down after him. She took the plunge down the statue and used the anemo vision to move down faster and after that, she made a small whirlwind to catch him and the cat together.

"Ah! Thank goodness I did it in time,"- She said in an exhausted tone as she slumped on the ground to her knees and catch her breath. The owner of the cat came close to them and took the cat from his arms before thanking the two of them together and profusely at that.

"Miss, next time, Go buy a cage for your cat! It almost took a life of a person for being mischievous! I almost got a heart attack!" She told the owner after she got her pay. When they were done talking, the girl looked back at him and approached him with a question.

"Excuse me, I'm sorry for what I've done to you and the commission as well, I will compensate for the broken lyre, but I'm short of mora right now... what to do?"- She pursed her lips while pondering.

"You, Who are you?"- He asked while staring into her eyes. It was the first time that he saw her in the crowd, and... There's something different from her that Venti cannot pinpoint.

"Oh, where are my manners, My name is Uriel, a new adventurer in Mondstadt, Y-You are?" She asked him.

"I am Venti the Bard, glad to meet your acquaintance, Uriel," Venti said with a small smile.

"Oh Venti, What a cute name, ehe!" Uriel gave him a happy smile before having a look of realization and went behind him to get his broken lyre.

"Oh no, it's utterly broken, it's all my fault,"- She said in a guilty and sulky tone before looking back to him, the broken lyre in her hands.

"Uhm, I don't mean to impose but, S-Since you're a bard, you need a lyre to play tunes yes? B-Because I broke it, y-you might not earn mora today, umm...C-Can I just pay your meals while I gather mora first from commissions? I promise I will repay it, uh- do you need a contract?" Uriel asked in an unsure tone while looking at Venti and waiting for him to answer.

"That, I don't particularly need a contract, but if that makes you assured, so be it,"- Venti said and followed her to the Good Hunter.

"Here, order what you like, I will draw the contract first,"- Uriel said and Venti stood up from the chair,

"You, do you want to order something?" He asked the girl, Uriel looked at him before answering.

"Oh me? No no, I'm fine, please go ahead, Don't hold back," Uriel said with a bright smile that made Venti smile back and went to buy his food.

While he was eating, he watched the girl while she focused on what she was writing on a scroll. Long ebony hair with parted bangs that hides her golden eyes, her fair skin complimented by the green hanfu that he was familiar with, it was from Liyue.

'But she has the Anemo vision... wait... a fake?' Venti was surprised at his sudden discovery and could only smile slightly at the girl when she looked his way.

"I hope the food is good, Here, please look at the contract," Uriel said and gave the scroll to Venti. Venti read it carefully and it was about him getting free meals while his lyre was being replaced.

"I agree to the contract, thank you, Uriel," Venti said after he signed the original and copy of the contract.

"Likewise, and I truly apologize for the inconvenience, Venti,"- Uriel look sheepish before she stood up and paid for his meal before bidding him farewell.

Venti walked around Mondstadt, because he cannot sing in the tavern as of now, he decided to head to the Favonius Headquarters and saw Uriel running ahead of him towards the location of the Adventurer's guild.

The mirage of this mysterious girl was like that person from the past. Venti couldn't help but compare the two while he watched her every move in the city.

She went from that side to this side, running errands and other kinds of commissions before heading to the Good Hunter when it was dinner time, Venti, of course, went there first and smiled at the girl who greeted him.

"Hi Venti, I made it just in time, I'll order for both of us, What would you like to eat?"

"Just a steak is fine, and actually I want to invite you to the Angel Share's tavern if you're free?" Venti asked but Uriel kindly declined.

"So sorry Venti, I have to pass on that, I have to go to Liyue after dinner for another commission, Perhaps, uh- around two days later?" She said and Venti shrugged, agreeing with her. After they ate, Uriel talked with Sara to give an advance payment for Venti's meals for the next two days before bidding farewell to Venti and going out of Mondstadt.

"Hey Sara, When did Uriel appear in Mondstadt?" Venti couldn't help but ask, Sara, who had just seen the person off, looked back at Venti with a smile,

"My, it's only been two weeks since she arrived from Liyue and started a frenzy accepting commissions in Mondstadt that made almost everyone become acquainted with her in just a short while," Sara said and Venti could only nod his head and leave the Good Hunter.

"Since I don't have my lyre, I have nothing to do, but I wonder, why do I get drawn by her?" Venti spoke his thoughts in a soft tone while looking up at the moon in the sky.

The passage of time has already changed, and yet the memories from the past were resurfacing just because of that one person.

"..." After much contemplation, Venti made his decision, he needs to know more about Uriel, that person.
