The Knights of Isolone and the King should be here in a day or so. Why am I nervous? I've never been so nervous in my entire life.

"[Y/N]?"

You shook your head before looking up to see Gemma, already aiming her sword right to your face.

"What is happening to you?" She spoke as she reach a hand out, you took it and stood up from the ground. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine, just got distracted a little." You spoke, grabbing the sword you somehow drop.

"You weren't this distracted when we're training, are you sure you're fine?" She asked once again, holding your shoulder.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Let's get back to training." You spoke once again before dusting her hand away from your shoulder.

You walked back to your training spot before standing in your fighting position. Gemma just sighed, following through.

She attacked first which made you block the pounce before kicking her by the leg. She stumbled a bit but she immediately went back to her position. It's your turn to attack and you did. But you juked her block and hit her on the waist.

Once she noticed, she quickly blocked your attack before you could hit her more, the tension was growing between you two as the two blades kept clicking together.

With each hit and block, you manage to cluster all your strength and made her throw her weapon from the sudden pounce you did. Aiming your sword to her neck, taking the win.

You two were breathing heavily and panting. It was already half noon so you packed your weapons and head home.

"[Y/N], be honest, what were you thinking about earlier?" Gemma spoke, her voice being breathier.

You didn't turn to her, keeping your eyes to the gravel path. "I'm nervous." You bluntly spoke.

"Nervous about what?" She asked once again.

"About the Knights and the King of Isolone, like, this is my chance to get out of this place but what if they didn't see me as one of the 'strong' knights here?" You spoke. Yeah, I think that's why I'm nervous. I've been thinking about how I will portray myself to them.

"That's just bullshit, you know that?" Gemma spoke, you turned to her clearly surprise from her reaction. "[Y/N], King Seadon never saw the good in you. And you basically protected that old man of yours literally every single night! Don't even start about how every single kingsmen literally keeps telling you that you are fit to be a Knight and King Seadon just never saw it!"

You slightly smile from her. "You think so?" You mumbled which she surprisingly heard.

"Of course! I think so! If King Seadon agreed on you, you could be the Head Guard in just a few days, not even kidding about it." She said yet again as she jumped to grab small branches from the trees above.

"If I'm the Head Guard of Isolone, I would pick you since your skills are much higher than a normal Knight would know. You're literally a breathing assassin since birth." She claimed once again.

"A breathing assassin?" You gaze at her before laughing. She laughed as well.

"I don't know why I put it that way but it fits." She laughed.

You two finally got back to the gate and went in, making your way to the bakery. Which was close for some odd reason.

"Well that's odd." Gemma spoke as she kept looking in the window. "No one's there."

"Do you think Julian is going out now?" You asked as you went to look at the window beside her.

"I thought he said, he will stay for at least a month or so." Gemma replied, knocking on the glass window. No one answered.
