The sun rises in the morning as you open your eyes. The light was passing in the room. You quickly changed into your warrior armor, eyeing your cape, just in time for the clock to chime.
You quickly ran out of your house to the palace, where you met the knights, smiling and saying 'Good morning' to you. You greeted back, walking with them to the dining room, where you met the people.
You immediately speed walk to Gray, him giving you a plate like usual. It was a normal morning actually until the king spoke about something.
"After breakfast, all of my knights and warrior, please meet me in the throne room, I have something to say." King Viktor spoke. You turned to Gray, who's now focused to the king.
What could this be?
After breakfast, you walked with the knights to the throne room. The king looking more serious than ever before.
"I have received a letter from Audunbast and Blizmoor. Many drowned zombies had been attacking both kingdoms, they desperately need help. And also, the mystery in Blizmoor still continued, the poisoning is still continuing. I have came to the conclusion that this person is desperately trying to kill the king." Spoke the King.
It's not the king. I know it's not the king. It's someone else on the King's side. My father like Seadon, he wouldn't hurt him one bit. I know he won't. He's loyal, right?
"[Y/N]?" The king spoke again. You quickly turned to him. "You looked like you know something, and you being in Blizmoor and one of warriors should know about this, am I right?"
"Yes I do." You said before looking down, "And I know the person."
"The one they wanted to poison or the poisoner?" He questioned, you can feel everyone staring.
"The poisoner. Me, my friend and one of the Kingsmen worked together on this mystery before all of you came to the kingdom. The Kingsmen, Janus, they eavesdrop on the person, but they didn't get who they were trying to poison since they need to warn the king as soon as possible before he's the one who got poisoned. He told me and my friend, Gemma, about this and we started working on who they were trying to poison." You spoke before taking a deep breath and continuing again.
"Actually, a servant died from that poison on the first day of the competition. And we came to the conclusion, well me and Janus did, that maybe it wasn't that servant. And when you told us that the poisoning is still continuing, your highness. I think I know who the person wants to poison." You added.
The king nodded before straighting his sit again, "Wait, you know the poisoner? Then why didn't you tell the king?" He spoke.
"Because the poisoner is not working alone, your highness. One person can't just walk away from poisoning dozens of food." You replied.
King Viktor nodded, knowing you do have a point. "Who is this person and who are they going to poison?" He asked.
All attention came to you again, you were silent for a bit but you know you have to tell the truth. You've gone this far, you can't just make the king mad for being untrustworthy.
You sighed, collecting your thoughts before talking, "My father is one of the poisoner, your highness. At first, I thought he was trying to kill me, since we don't have a healthy relationship, but that's not the case since I didn't live in the castle on that time, my father is loyal to the king, he wouldn't poison him, for sure. So it must be the Head Guard or someone close to the king that has to be a higher supremacy."
Everyone seems to be shocked at the first sentence, silence was strong but you could hear the mutters of everyone.
"Your father is one of them?" The king asked. You just nodded without hesitations.
"I'm still wondering where he got the courage to say yes to that, I know he's willing to kill but... I'm sorry." You spoke before muttering the last part. You sighed, gaze still on the marble floor.
"Have you told the king about your father?" The king asked.
"No, I haven't, your highness. Janus haven't either, since we both know that if he was found. Then the rest of the killers are going to do it two times more, that they might even go for the king now." You replied. "We have to slow things down and be cautious on everything. Some servants might be on this aswell and also some of the knights, so it's just me, Janus and my friend." You added.
The King nodded, "Well, I have send a letter that we might arrive at Blizmoor a bit more later since Audunbast is just a few hours walk from the bridge. We'll leave tomorrow morning, gather everything up."
All of the knights and you bowed before walking away. You didn't talk to anyone else, walking straight to the stables, where you met your horse.
You interrupt the morning noises with a whistle, Valkyrie, revealing his face from his stable. He neighs, already standing up.
You pet his face before looking beside his stable to see Panda, Sapnap's horse. He was staring at you. You also pat his snout. His neigh sounded like relief before leaning his head more towards you.
You pet the two horses, smiling at them. "So, we'll be going out tomorrow, I prefer for you two to rest up." You spoke. The two neighed while nodding their heads. You smiled yet again before walking away, "Good night you two." You spoke yet again, finally walking away from the stables.
You walked to your house, not knowing what to do until you noticed two familiar figures in front of your house. As you go nearer, you finally make out who they were.
"And please tell me what are you doing in front of my house?" You asked the two knights, shaking your head.
"I wanted to take you downstairs." They both spoke in unison before glaring at each other. Sapnap giving the frustrated glare. If looks can kill you, Gray would be 1000 feet to the ground.
You shook your head yet again. "Why now? And besides we have a lot to do tomorrow." You replied.
"You told me that you wanted to go downstairs, right? So let's go downstairs." Gray spoke, not caring about the death glare he was receiving.
"He doesn't know the way there, I do." Sapnap now spoke.
You just sighed not giving shit to both of them before walking in between them and into your house. "Please, I need rest." You only spoke before slamming your door in front of the two. Fucking idiots.
You waited until the two walked away before sighing in relief. Throwing your face plate to the bed and laying beside it. The soft silk sheets feeling divine before you engulfed yourself to sleep.
