Some of the knights were in the King's camp, including you.

"So Gray said, you have something to say, [Y/N]. What is it?" The king spoke first. You nodded before nodding at Gray as a thank you.

"I went to look at the dock, to see if we can be targeted in here and I noticed something weird." You paused. "I saw that the dock is 1 foot off the water. The drowned wouldn't be able to go up there. And if they would, they would have helped themselves up. But they can't because of how broken their bones are, if they put pressure on their arms, it would snap like a twig." You added.

The king was focused on you at that point. Sapnap on the other side of you, was shocked on the new found knowledge.

"Interesting, that's something new." The king spoke. You just nodded.

"I'm guessing from your face, your highness. You didn't know about it?" You spoke. The king nodded.

"Yes, it was actually. I didn't know monsters have such weakness." The king spoke.

"They do, that's why I have a quote to myself. Aim at the eyes and slice the head off, hit the abdomen at high speed, dodge, dodge, slice and shoot the brain before slicing in half." You replied.

Gray was now looking at you weirdly. You just stifled a laugh before having the bitchiest face, you ever had.

"So back to the subject, so as you said, the zombies can't be coming from the docks." The king spoke causing you to nod. "Then where are they coming from?" He asked again.

You started thinking as to where until you realized something. "The sewers and the well." You spoke. Sapnap must have the same idea as he nodded.

"Sewer drains are all around the kingdom and there's a well near the entrance. That's why they are mostly surrounded by them." You added.

"We have to check the sewers first. There must be a lot of them down were now." Sapnap spoke.

"I'll tell the others to guard the entrance, mostly the well." Gray now spoke. You nodded at both of them.

"Night is here, your highness." A knight from outside spoke. "The rest of them can stay here to guard." You whispered to the King, he nodded quickly.

Making your way to the sewer was not that difficult, many of the people knew where it was and now, you're infront of it, smelling the disgusting rotten fleshes and other things you don't wanna know about.

You only have 2 archers and some of the knights. Tia and Sapnap being one of them. Tia fixed her helmet while Sapnap tied the lantern on his armor. You tied your lantern on your waist before seeing if your sword was still sharp and your quiver, full of arrows.

"Ok, everyone get ready to go in." Sapnap spoke, standing up from his seat. Without any warning, you finally heard the growling and stomping of the zombies.

"Here they come." You spoke, readying your sword. Without any warning, you ran in the sewers.

"[Y/N]!" Yelled by Sapnap, but you were focused on slicing and dicing the zombies in front of you.

"If you wanna help! That would be great!" You yelled back, hearing arrows being shot to you. You swiftly dodge it so it could hit the zombie in front of you. With every arrow shot and sword swings. The wave of zombies doesn't seem to go down. They kept coming and coming. It looks like this kingdom was cursed to have such amount of this monsters at night.

The thought of it, really terrifies you since you have remembered the story 'The Cursed kingdom'. It was a curse that made one of the royals in this kingdom to have an affair to someone else. If the their lover founds it out, they will die a horrible death.

This curse is said to be true but there's no new things explaining this. This curse can also be a blessing in disguise. For, it can multiply the kingdom's resources, from food supply to knights and visitors. But the downside of this is that, this blessing can also be a downfall. It can multiply monsters from around the kingdom to infinity.

You have to use your multiplied resources to bring in knights and safety to the kingdom but it will be suspicious to the eyes of the others. The cursed royal can't be set free from the cursed, they have to live with it till death.

You shiver from the story, before slicing through another zombie.

"[Y/N]!" Someone yelled from behind. You turned to see an arrow going at you until a sword blocked its way. You gaze at the handler of the sword, seeing Sapnap.

His eyes shimmering in worry and anger. This guy just saved me.

"Focus." Was all he said before positioning and stabbing the zombie, that's about to take a wonderful bite out of you.

You shook from it before slicing yet another one.

Morning rises, without any more 'scenes' happening. All of you were exhausted. You walked out of the sewer with the mix of your own sweat and the putrid smell of the sewers.

You tiredly walked to the camp. Where you met all the knights also exhausted. You greeted everyone before walking to the lined up crates, laying there.

The wooden texture was rough on your skin, but you don't care, already resting your eyes, within seconds.

You were awoken by an argument somewhere. You groaned at the noise before sitting up, noticing you're in a sleeping mat. You were confused until you heard an angered yell.

"You're calling ME irresponsible?! I was helping YOU to free your kingdom from monsters and you're calling ME irresponsible?!" Someone shouted.

You immediately run outside and to the yells to see a crowd of people, knights and village people. Everyone was here. You sneak in the crowd, shock at what you saw.

King Viktor was on the ground while King Schmitt had a sword pointing at him. Then you saw Gray and Sapnap, swords ready, same with the guards of King Schmitt.

"You never freed my kingdom, they are still coming in, Viktor. And if I stopped the sewers, people wouldn't have water for their homes. Your ideas are atrocious."

And with that he swung his sword. You having the adrenaline, you quickly get your still bloodied sword out and ran towards them. You block the hit before reaching your hand to the fallen king, never taking your eyes to King Schmitt.

Once you felt your King's hand. You help him stood up before pushing him slightly to Gray and Sapnap.

"We never said to stop your flow of water. We said to cage it up." You spoke, pushing the sword a bit, making the king stumble backwards.

"We don't want fights here, especially since we still have a kingdom to visit. And yes, I didn't say to stop it completely. I said to lock it up so the monsters cannot go out and destroy your kingdom, Schmitt." King Viktor spoke behind you.

You lowered your sword before glancing at the two guards. They didn't stand down which you groaned at.

Everything was silence and that's when King Schmitt walked away. "Go. I don't need you anymore."

"Very well then, friend." King Viktor spoke before walking back to the docks. You just sighed.

"Being royal is hard, huh?" Gray spoke. You turned to him before groaning.

"My body hurts so much and how in the God's name do you even look like that?" You replied, looking at him head to toe.

He was looking fresh, like he just took a wonderful bath down by a lake or something. Clean clothes and armor, no spots of blood everywhere.

"You have to look handsome for the ladies, of course." He said with a wink. You chuckled before shrugging him off.

"C'mon, the king must be waiting for us." You rolled your eyes to him before walking away.
