The ruined silk of your shirt continued to capture the cold air as you ride your horse beside Gray, without a saddle of course. The ride was bumpy but you managed.
The cold air of a sunny afternoon was enough for you to question what the weather is going to be in the next few days. You turned to Gray, who's eyes were focused on the path.
The longer you were on your horse, the colder it gets. What the heck? Is there going to be a storm coming? How could the hot sunny sun cause freezing air?
Your clothes were a bit warm but with that tiny bit of torn on your shirt, it literally bypass the 'I'll keep you warm' thing.
You shiver a bit as the cold air pass through you yet again. You decided to rub your hands together, trying to create the friction of heat in them.
But before you could rub the heat on the torn part of your clothes. You felt a soft thick cotton like towel, wrapping around your body.
You turned to your side, seeing Gray, wrapping his cape around you. "I can see that you're shivering. You can have it for a while, it's gonna be super windy once we got to the bridge." He spoke, smiling at you.
You smiled back before wrapping the warm cloth around you, sighing in relief as you finally felt the heat that your cold body desires. The tingling feeling came back to you once again.
You glance at the Head Guard since he's the only one who keeps staring the shit out of you.
To find him, glaring at you and Gray. What is wrong with him today? You shook the thought yet again, focusing on warming yourself up.

You were walking by your horse's side since you don't want to exhaust it too much. And there it is. The dark mahogany bridge, stone, metal and some kind of blue magic, lifting it up from the ocean to the sky. And at the end, the floating island of Isolone was there.
From where you are standing, it looked like an ant in the sky. It's just a tiny dot but you knew that's Isolone. The color cyan hint that the place was so windy.
"Let's rest for a bit then let's continue." King Viktor spoke as he jumped down his horse.
You nod at your horse, gesturing to rest up and it nodded back before finding a spot - where Ice was actually settled - before laying down.
You sat down near the shore, playing with the golden sand under you. Just looking out the beautiful view of the cloudy horizon.
"What's up with you and Gray?"
The sudden voice surprised you and made you snap at the voice.
"Oh, it's you, again." You spoke back before looking out the horizon yet again, trying to ignore what he just said.
"I was asking a question." He bluntly spoke.
"We're just merely friends, that's all and why are you even asking that?" You spoke back.
"Just a question." He replied before walking away. The click of his boots and the sand under it was making such ridiculous noises, making you shudder from the sound.

The wooden floor was stiff and rough as you walk, the wind almost pushing you, making you lean towards your horse. It's very windy that the cape surrounded you was flying with the wind. Not able to hold onto it any longer, it flew out of your grasp and onto the air.
You watched it fly with only one word in your mind, Fuck. You groaned as you just watched it while being pushed by your horse.
You turned to Gray, who's focused was on the king - the king's crown actually, many had said that the king's crown was so thin and brittle that it would just fly out of the King's head and into the deep ocean below.
You just sighed as you kept moving forwards but something caught your attention. The Head Guard - smirking like he just won a big prize - was barely seen to your side eye.
Why is he acting so weird? From the day I met him, he's just weird.
You yet again shook the thoughts out of your mind, continuing to walk forward the floating island. The stronger the winds are, the nearer you get to the island. And this was so close. All of you are so close to home.
You guys finally step foot of the island. The stronger winds died a bit but it's still windy. How could they survive this place?
You thought, looking around while shivering from the cold, the island holds. "Did my cape flew away?"
You froze from the voice before you slowly turned to him. Seeing him standing there, was just intimidating to you and you don't know why.
You just nodded before looking away.
"[Y/N], it's fine. I still have a lot of capes and besides this always happens especially with the trades coming in here. They often lose a hat or two or even a whole ass wheel." He chuckled before fixing his ruined hair.
You just sighed in relief, knowing he's not mad about his cape. But you're still sad that the soft, warm feeling was gone. And it would be useful now if it haven't flown away from you.
"Knights, let's rest for today. And [Y/N], come with me. I'll show you around the palace and the place where you'll stay in." King Viktor just spoke before walking into a different path.
You groaned quietly from the sore feet you have but you manage to jog your way towards the king, after telling your horse to stay with Gray so he can put your horse in a stable.
