...Promise...

It was 1 am when we finally returned to her room.

Y/N: You're never up this late huh?

Yaoyorozu: Nope.

I smiled and she laid down on the bed.

Y/N: Im gonna go use the restroom.

Yaoyorozu: Mhmm.

Poor thing is tired. Me on the other hand is used to staying up this late.

I left her room and started walking around the hallways.

I went downstairs and saw people cleaning up.

I asked someone where the restroom was and they gave me directions. Jeez I should get a map for this place.

I went exactly where she said and opened a door.

Instead of the bathroom it was a office, or study room. With a man in it

Y/N: I apologize, she said the left...not the right.

???: It's alright. Your looking for the bathroom?

Y/N: Oh uh ya.

???: Ahh alright.

I bowed and was about to leave until he stopped me.

???: My daughter seems to enjoy being around you.

Now I knew...this was her dad.

Y/N: Oh I apologize..again. I didn't know you were her father.

Yaoyorozu's Dad: Well we're never really around each other, and the last time we've met you were only a child.

I put my hand on the back of my neck.

Yaoyorozu's Dad: Yes anyways carry along.

I nodded about to leave again and stopped.

Y/N: Actually..I have a question for you..Mr. Yaoyorozu.

I looked at him.

Y/N: May I have a seat?

He looked at me and lifted an eye brow.

Yaoyorozu's Dad: Of course.

I nodded and closed the door. Then sat in the chair in front of his desk.

Yaoyorozu's Dad: Now what is it?

I took a deep breathe then exhaled.

Y/N: Mr. Yaoyorozu?

I looked him in the eyes while I spoke.

Y/N: May I have your permission to date your daughter?

He stayed quiet for a second and did a Ahem before he spoke.

Yaoyorozu's Dad: Do you think your at the standards for my daughter? And do you think your able to make her happy 24/7 just from your mere presence?

I continued to look him in the eyes with confidence.

Y/N: Yes sir. I want to be the one who keeps her happy till time is over.

He took a cigarette out.

Y/N: She's the only person who I feel is my other half. I want to be the one to protect her. To make her feel safe and loved.

Yaoyorozu's Dad: So you're saying that you love her?

I stayed quiet for a second.

Y/N: Yes.

He smiled and nodded.

Yaoyorozu's Dad: It always comes a time where a father has to let go of his daughter.

He took his cigarette in his hand and flicked the ashes off.

Yaoyorozu's Dad: I always feared who Momo was gonna bring home for us to meet. And honastly I always hoped it would be you to ask for my blessings.

Y/N: So does that mean..?

Yaoyorozu's Dad: Yes. You have my blessing to date my daughter.

Y/N: Thank you.

I got up from my chair with a smile.

Yaoyorozu's dad: Just promise me you won't hurt her.

He smiled a bit and held out his hand.

Y/N: I promise. I'd never forgive myself if I did.

I say as I took his hand and shook it.

Y/N: Thank you again.

He nodded and let go of my hand.

Y/N: Can I call you pops?

He chuckled.

Yaoyorozu's Dad: Don't push your luck kiddo.

Y/N: Your right sorry.

Yaoyorozu's dad: Now get out of here.

He playfully said.

Y/N: Yes sir.

I said saluting and leaving. Closing the door behind me with a big smile on my face.

I went back up to Yaoyorozu's room completely forgetting that I had to go to the bathroom.

I got to her room and saw her still on her bed half awake.

She's so pretty.

I smiled to myself and went to the desk where I had put my backpack. Grabbing it, I threw it around my shoulders and started for the door.

Yaoyorozu: Where are you going?

I looked at her.

Y/N: Don't worry I'm just gonna go change my clothes.

Yaoyorozu: Oh ok.

Y/N: I'll be back. Just go to sleep.

Yaoyorozu: Mk

I left her room to the bathroom to finally use it and change my clothes quickly. Then went back up to her room where I found she was asleep.

I placed my backpack where it was before and afterwards laid next to her.
