Episode Four

Episode Four:

Beckett lifted Carly into the air.

Vanessa: Beckett is going to audition the duet with me, Carly and Kit. I hope he doesn't overwork himself.

"And one, two, three, up and spin, down, one, two, three." Said Carly. "Great practice. Try gaining some more height on the lift and point more on the extension turn." Said Beckett.

Carly nodded and took a deep breath. "And, don't stress so much. You're an amazing dancer." Carly smiled slowly.

Carly: I used to hate Beckett, but he's actually really sweet. I'm so glad that Vanessa made me tolerate him more. He really brings out the best in me. I haven't been so...lucky when it comes to guys.

Vanessa: Why am I so mad that Carly likes Beckett suddenly? It doesn't make sense!?

"How did they get so close all the sudden?" Asked Kit, stretching. Vanessa shrugged. "So, are you going to make a song for the audition?" Vanessa gave a confused look. "For music. We have to prepare a song to audition for the big showcase at the end of the month so that we can be sorted into a piece for the dance to make music for.

Vanessa, Kit, and Beckett warmed up. "You can practice with Beckett first. Go ahead." Said Vanessa, smiling. Kit laughed. "What I want is to dance, not steal your man.""Shhhhhh!" Said Vanessa.

Later, after school Kit walked outside. "Kit! I'm helping Scarlett host this performance for the freshman, wanna help?" Asked Bianca.

Kit shook her head. "I would love to , but I really need to talk to Jax."

Bianca: This is awkward.

"Sure, sure. See you around." Said Bianca. Kit sighed and turned around, heading up to the music room. "There you are." She said, Jax turned. "Oh, she speaks." He said. Kit rolled her eyes. "Sorry, I've been preoccupied. Haven't you as well? With Katie?"

"That's what this is about? Come on, we kissed like a year ago. It was nothing." Jax exclaimed.

"Not to her! She won't lay off you and you're not stopping her! This won't work if you're not honest!" Kit said. Jax huffed. "Then maybe we should break up." He walked out of the room.

Kit spun around and followed him. Outside water was pouring. The freshmen were shrieking and running around. "This is a disaster." Muttered Scarlett. Bianca shrugged. "It's been worse."

"Jax!" Said Kit. "What, what do you even want! For me to unfriend Katie?" Jax said, crossing his arms. Kit ran a hand through her hair and mumbled. "What? Just tell me?" "I-I want to be with you. Even if we're not together. I don't want to lose you."

Kit: Just do it Kit. Come on!

Kit leaned in and kissed him. Bianca walked out just at that moment.

Bianca: Did...that just happen?

Kit gave a small smile and held her hand out to Jax. He took it and they walked back into Keaton. Scarlett walked over to Bianca. "Let's get inside already, this water is not good for my mucus." Bianca rolled her eyes.

Kit walked into the DJ room and pulled up some new beats.

Kit: I decided to experiment with dance. I guess I just wanted a break from Dj-ing. But I'm back now and I'm glad that I took a break. I feel like I found myself. And now I found out that I can dance. I found a way to be a kid again, and now I found a way to be an even bigger artist.
