Calum-

So at the end of the day I took Carter home again for the science project and I was dreading to be be in the car with her so she could cry about Cody some more. But she didn't. She didn't even speak to me, look at me the whole car ride. I wonder why though? I don't care though.

I'd rather it stay silent then her talk to me anyways, right?

When we go upstairs she sets her stuff on the floor and takes out our science project.

"Ok we should get started." She says without making any eye contact

Without saying anything I sit on her bed and grab markers from my book bag and sit it down on the poster board.

"What's wrong?" I blurt out

"Nothing's wrong." She lies

"Well obviously something's wrong because you ignored me the whole car ride." I say

She doesn't say anything. She just grabs a marker and draws something on the poster board.

"Carter! What's wrong?" I yell snatching the marker out of her hand.

"Hey! Give me the marker back!" She screams climbing over the poster to reach for the marker but I pull it farther away

"When you tell me what's wrong!" I scream back

"Come on Calum!" She screams and reaches farther and now she's literally on top of me.

When she reaches a little farther to get the marker from my hand we both fall on the ground and she's on top of me.

She grabs the marker from my hand but I grab on to her waist so she can't go anywhere.

"Let go Calum. Or I'll ... I'll.." She stutters.

"You'll what?" I ask raising my eyebrow at her.

"I'll draw on your face." She yells and grabs the marker and pulls the cap off. But I react fast and roll us so I'm on top of her and hold her arms down.

"Ha. Gotcha!" I say in victory

"Get off of me Calum!!" She yells

"Tell me what's wrong first." I say

"I'll tell you what's wrong if you move this hair out of my face." So I take the piece of hair and pull it behind her hair.

"Now tell me." I say

"Fine. I'm mad at you." She simply says

"And why?" I ask

"Olivia."

"Your mad that I let Olivia take your seat because she doesn't have to sit there." I say

"No, that's one reason but I do t really care. It's just when I dropped my stuff you didn't even bother to help me and you just laugh with Olivia." She says

"Well I'm sorry." I say. "I didn't think it was a big deal"

"It was A lot of stuff to pick up." She says laughing

"Anything else.?"

"Well.. Never mind it's not important." She says

"Tell me please!" I yell pouting

"No." She says shaking her head

So I let go of her arms and tickle her and she starts screaming.

"Calum!! Stop!" She yells laughing

"Tell me!" I yell tickling her more

"Stop! Please!" She laughs squirming around

"Tell me!" I repeat still tickling her

"Ok fine I'll tell you!" She yells and I stop tickling her.

She takes a couple of deep breaths.

"When you and Olivia sat with each other in Science there was only one book."

"Ok. And..?"

"You guys shared your book with each other like we did and I didn't like it. I thought that was our thing." She smiles lightly

"Oh. I see. You were jealous that me and Olivia shared a book." I ask smirking

"No! I was not jealous! I just didn't like it!" She yelled pushing me.

"Yeah you were." I laugh getting off of her and us both sitting on the floor.

"No. I was not." She rolls her eyes

"Okay whatever you say." I say

"I like Michael anyways so why would I be jealous." She smirks

"You like Michael." I ask frowning

"Yep." She says popping the 'p'

"No you don't." I say. I feel myself leaning in closer to her

"Yeah , I do." She says looking at my eyes and back down at my lips.

"No.." I say quietly still leaning in and I can feel her breath on my skin.

"Calum?" She says my name leaning in closer with our noses touching

I move a piece of hair from her face and put it behind her ear.

"Yes, Car?" I say about to kiss her

"You like Olivia." She says softly so I can barely hear her. So I stop moving closer.

"Your right." We both move back and she bites her lip standing up.
She hands out her hand for me to stand up so I grab her hand and lift up

"God Calum, your so heavy!" She laughs so now me standing up looking at her

"Thanks." I laugh

"We should get started on the project now." She says pulling yet another piece of hair behind her ear.

"Yeah, we should." I say sitting back down on the bed.

When we wanted to stop with the science project we went down stairs and ate some Cheez-it's and juice boxes.

I see Carters dad come in.

"Calum, how are you?" He asks smiling

"I'm fine, sir. How are you?" I ask politely.

"Fantastic! I'm glad your hear I kind of wanted to talk to you." He says

"Why do you need to talk to him?" Carter asks her dad

"Nothing that concerns you." He says

"It's fine, Carter ." I say

"Can you come with me into my office." He says acting like we're at his work

We step into his home office and he sets his stuff down and looks at me intently.

"So Calum? How's your mother?" He asks

"She's okay. We're in debt again. She's trying to find a job." I say

"I can help again. If you do me a favor." He says and I really need to help my mother and me. So I'm interested in what he has to say.

"Okay. What is this favor?" I ask

"I need you to date my daughter. "
