I found myself thinking on the drive about how these guys really are some of the best people I've ever met. All my other relationships were so toxic and all people ever seemed to want from me was sex and I never felt ready for something like that. I mean I guess it's a good thing that none of that stuff ever worked out but man did it take a toll on me then. I'm glad that with Josh and Sam that wasn't something that they expected.

My thoughts got interrupted as we pulled into the theater parking lot. As we got out of the car when the brisk air hit me it sent goosebumps around my whole body. "I came prepared," Sam said, turning around and opening the back car door. He grabbed something that was starting to fall slowly from his hands. He walked to the back of his car and set what he had gathered on the truck. "I brought snacks," He said, smiling as proudly as ever. He unwrapped the blanket he had everything stored in and displayed what he had brought. There was an array of candy and my favorite chips sitting in the center. There were also somebody armors in there too as he knew I could never get enough of them, and sitting there was an individual white claw for himself, it made me chuckle just loud enough for only him to hear me. I made my dislike for them very clear when I teased him for how much he enjoyed something that tasted like TV static. "Just because you don't like them doesn't mean that I can't like them," he said, collecting the blanket and discreetly wrapping the provisions back inside. "I never said you don't like them but that isn't going to stop me from clowning on you about it," I said laughing and interlocking my arm with his.

Sam insisted on paying for everything and it was amazing but I feel bad because I don't want to be that girl when we go out. I start to expect it. (I'll cover our next date) We made our way to theater 12 like our ticked stated and found our seats. The lights dimmed as we sat down and the movie began. We watched intently and ate all the snacks that he had brought as the movie progressed. About halfway through the movie, Sam turned slightly to sneak glances at me, however, they didn't go unnoticed. He leaned in slightly, tilting my head towards him. He held my jaw in his hand gently pulling me closer to him. He didn't break his gaze until the last second when he kissed me. He pulled me close enough that I was practically sitting on his lap. It's a good thing we were one of the only people here, the only other couple was down only a few rows back from the screen. After taking a quick glance around to make sure no one was watching I turned back to Sam, leaning in and grabbing the back of his neck and pulling him into a deep kiss. The movie seemed to fade away at this moment. He placed one hand on my cheek holding me close and the other on my hip seemingly for the same reason. Our mouths matched perfectly as they danced together in perfect synchrony. The feeling of euphoria spread over my body with movement from Sam. The movie started to end and we ended our little makeout session, looking into each other's eyes for a few moments. Sam looked like he wanted to say something but he held his tongue and gathered all of our things. We walked out of the theater hand in hand. The brisk air seemed to bite harder than before, I folded my arms still holding sam's hand to hopefully keep some of his warmth close to my chest.

As we approached the car Sam stooped and set the blanket on the trunk of the car once more. He turned back to me and grabbed my hips preventing me from walking any closer to the car but instead he pulled until our faces were only a few inches apart and spoke, "I love you y/n, and I'm so glad that I found you in that funny little record store." He chuckled, intertwining our fingers, "I love you too Sammy" I smiled getting on my tippy toes, and gave him a peck on the cheek. As I lowered myself he opened the car door for me to take my place inside. When I sat down and the door was closed behind me my phone buzzed, It was from Josh. I read his message and my heart sank.

Josh💕: We need to talk. Call me.
