Chapter 9

"I need you, Amelia." Damon whispered in my ear.

"I care about you but I need time, I just found out that vampire's exist" I said pulling away from him.

"But you said you're okay with it" he questioned sounding saddened.

"I said I was adjusting Damon, I-I'm just scared." I said tears starting to surround my eyes.

"Hey, hey there's no need to be scared, hey I'm here for you" I turned away from him but he cupped my face in his hands "listen to me Amelia I'm here okay, I would never hurt you, ever, I want to be with you, I want to protect you and that's not something that comes normal to me because of what happened in the past, but I feel, I care and it's about you so don't be scared of me or Stefan I won't let him hurt you and I won't hurt you" he finished.

A small smile crept on my face and the next thing I know Damon's lips were place upon my own.

A couple of seconds later the door open and so we pulled away from another to see Stefan and Elena walking in hand in hand.

"Amelia I'm so sorry, I-" he says before I cut him off.

"It's okay Stefan, it wasn't you, that wa- that was someone else." I said walking up to him and hesitantly hugging him, he tensed up at first but relaxed within a few seconds and squeezed me tight, he seemed afraid that I would slip from his grasp.

"I'm sorry" he whispered in my ear.whilst slowly releasing me.

I smiled at him and kissed his cheek, hopefully giving him comfort and letting him know I forgive him.

I walked over to Elena and she gave me a small smile "Hey erm we're gonna go upstairs" Elena said whilst holding onto my wrist pulling me with her, I smiled at Stefan again and glanced at Damon to see him staring at me and wink. Then I leave with Elena, I know she only left so that Stefan and Damon could have a talk and hopefully this would give us time to talk about everything because to be honest I need my sister.

Hey I'm so sorry guys that I haven't been updating its just that I've been really busy.

I'm sorry this is a short chapter but Things with hopefully progress the further we go, so yes and I'm not quite sure when Elijah will be making an appearance so just keep a look out.
