Chapter 3

Me, Elena and Bonnie walk inside the school towards our locker until I see a perfect, perky blonde running to us and enveloping me and Elena into a bone crushing hug.

" Hi Caroline" I say barely audible.

"Caroline we can't breathe" Elena States whilst Caroline lets us go.

" How are you guys? Are you okay, are they okay?" Caroline says sympathetically to us then to Bonnie.

"We're right here and yeah we're fine, thank you, much better" I lied.

"Are you sure?" Caroline's questions whilst a smile is placed upon her pink,plump lips.

" Yeah we're sure" Elena replied

After that little encounter Caroline leaves causing me, Elena and Bonnie to walk towards class when we see a guy in the reception.

" That is a hot back" Bonnie says whilst I smile at her comment.

I look behind Elena and Bonnie to see Jeremy making his way toward the bathroom and by the pace he is walking at it looks like he's trying to hide something so I nudge Elena with my elbow and point towards Jeremy.

" Hey bonnie we'll see you in a minute" Elena says whilst dragging me to the bathroom.

We make our way inside the boys bathroom to see Jeremy putting in some eye drops

" Great it's the first day of school and you're stoned!" I practically yell.

"No, I'm not" Jeremy tries to lie but fails miserably because I can see behind his little facade.

" Where is it? Is it on you?" Elena says whilst checking his pockets

"Stop, all right?! You need to chill yourself" Jeremy replies.

"Chill myself? What is that, stoner talk? Dude, your so cool." Elena says annoyed.

"Look stop! I don't have anything on me. Are you crazy?"

"You haven't seen crazy, Jeremy! We gave you a summer pass, but we are done watching you destroy yourself. No, no, no, you know what? Go ahead. Keep it up. But just know that we are going to be there to ruin your buzz every time, you got it? Jeremy, I know who you are. And it's not this person. So don't be this person." I say trying to be sympathetically.

"I don't need this" Jeremy says whilst walking out.

Me and Elena look at each other questioning with our eyes on what to do with him but eventually walk out of the boys bathroom just to run into the 'hot back' as Bonnie called him.

He has sandy brown hair, capturing green eyes and a hot physique. Just as I was about to become lost in his beautiful eyes he said " uh, pardon me. Um... Is this the men's room?"

"Yes. Um, we were just, um- we was just- it's a long story..." Elena says lost for words.

We try to get past him when we all walked in the same direction, me and Elena went the other way when he walked the same way as well, so eventually he moved aside so that we could pass, as we did but as we started to walk back to class I looked back at him to see him staring at me and I smiled to myself.
