Chapter 14

I walked back to my house after I stayed out all night, I couldn't go back home, I had a lot on my mind and I didn't need anymore drama, however I knew it was time to finally hear what's going on. The whole Elijah thing is confusing me, I think I see him one minute and when I look the next he's gone, I may just be going crazy but I can't help but feel something for Elijah and I think he is checking on me but I wish that he would just tell me what we were to each other and how he knows me.

As I walked into the house I heard talking coming from the kitchen as soon as I entered the kitchen my jaw clenched and anger pulsated through me "what is he doing here?" they mustn't have heard me walk in because as soon as I spoke they both turned to look at me.

"Amelia, I, Ste-" Elena stared until she was rudely interrupted.

"Amelia" he said with a wide smile plastered across that vile face of his.

"What are you doing here John, we don't want you here and we don't need you here" I said venom dripping from my every word.

"Well I am here because of Stefan" as soon as he said that I looked at Elena shocked " you may not want me here but you do need me" he finished. My eyes flickered from him to Elena, anger and annoyance visible to the both.

"Where were you last night?" Elena asked.

"Don't worry about me, why did Stefan bring him back, I thought we were done with him" I said fuming.

"I'm here to protect you, protect you both and that is all I can say for the moment" he stated cutting into my staring contest with Elena.

"What do you mean for the moment" I replied whilst crossing my arms.

"I can say anymore until I feel like I can trust you both" he said.

"Whatever" I rolled my eyes and started walking upstairs to let Elena deal with him.

As I was strolling to the stairs Jenna and Alaric came down.

"Where were you last night??" She questioned.

"Can we talk later please I just, I'm tired" I pleaded.

"Yes but only because I'm late" she replied.

I carried on my walk to my room, dragging my feet along with me, I opened my door and threw my bag on the floor, I proceeded forward towards my bathroom. I placed both hands on each sides of the sink before I turned on the tap and washed my face, I stood staring inside the sink for a while before I turned off the tap and walked into my room.

Suddenly, everything started going dizzy, I grabbed a hold on the walk to keep myself upright.

~flashback~

"To my sons, daughter and my soon to be daughter" I heard a woman say.

"I hope you all enjoy the meal, eat" a man finished off.

I heard laughter and happiness.

Although I couldn't really see what was going on or who I was with, I felt safe.

"Drink up my darlings" the same woman said.

~end of flashback~

"What was that?" I mumbled to myself, before I felt light headed and everything went black.
