Chapter 5

Recap:

"Amelia" a man with light brown hair and chocolatey brown eyes said.

"Who are you?" I asked, confused.

"It's me Elijah, my love" he replied.

What, what is he talking about... Who is he and why did he refer to me as (my love).

I then woke up with a gasp.

What was that, I thought to myself, it was 7:00 am. I had school so I decided to get up, I went into the shower, when I finished I blow dried my hair and curled it, I put some eye shadow on, I did a smokey eye but I used brown so that it wasn't so harsh, I also put some nude lipstick on. I then got changed into black skinny jeans, a purple top and my leather jacket. I put my black high-heeled boots. For accessories I wore a gold bracket and a gold heart necklace with a clock inside.

I walked out of my room grabbing my bag from my bed and went downstairs. When I entered the kitchen I saw Elena making herself some coffee, I walked beside her so that I could make myself some hot chocolate.

"Hey" Elena said.

"Hey" I replied.

"Are you okay?" She asked concerned.

"Yeah,why wouldn't I be?" I said raising an eyebrow, whilst I finished making my hot chocolate.

"You don't seem yourself" she said.

" I'm fine.. Just a bad dream or weird one you could say"

"Okaayyyyy" for the remainder of the morning we sat in silence until it was time to go to school.

"Shall we head of?" Elena said.

"Yeah." We then got in the car and went to school. When we reached school me and Elena got out and started walking inside until Stefan approached us.

"I'm gonna go" I said walking away to leave them two alone. I reached my locker only to be smothered with a hug by none other then Caroline. "Hey care, you'r- hur-ting me"

"Oh sorry" she said laughing and releasing me. I took a breathe of air and proceeded to open my locker.

"So, how are you?" Care bear said.

"Why does everyone keep asking me that!" I said a little too harshly.

"I'm sorry I was only asking" Caroline said politely

"Sorry I just... Shall we got to History?" I said trying to change the subject.

"Sure, let's go" she said grabbing my arm and hooking it around hers.

We then arrived to our History class so I proceeded to sit in my normal seat with Caroline on my right. Elena and stefan then walked in, Elena sitting on my left and Stefan behind me. Bonnie then entered and sat behind Elena. 10 minutes later Mr. Tanner walked in and started the lesson.

I didn't really pay attention much that lesson, my mind wondered off to the dream I had last night, what was that about? I then lifted my head to hear my name being called by Elena.

" are you alright?" She asked me.

I nodded my head in response, then turned to look out the window after around 5 minutes of staring into the distance a crow flew onto the window ledge. I swear it was looking at me. I was then knocked out of my trance and bought back to reality when the bell went.

The rest of the day was boring and I felt like English, Math and Athletics I couldn't concentrate properly because all I could think about was that dream. It was now the end of the day and I was waiting for Elena by the school doors when she magically appeared in front of me.

"Hey, do you wanna go?" She said.

"Yeah come on, erm I'm gonna drop you home and then go to the grill and eat is that okay?" I asked.

" yeah sure, do you want me to come?"

" er no thanks I'll be good on my own"

"Okay" she said.

I then dropped Elena off at the house and made my way to the grill. I finally reached there and made my way inside when I bumped into a man with raven black hair and the most gorgeous blue eyes appeared in front of me.

"Sorry, I should have been watching where I was going" I said looking down embarrassed.

"It's fine, I'm Damon Salvatore and you are?" He said with a cocky smirk on his face.

" I'm Amelia Gilbert"

"Nice to meet you" he said then he brought my hand to his lips and kissed it, I blushed still holding my hand in his; looking in his eyes until I came back to reality, I then took my hand out of his.

"Erm I'm gonna go it was nice to meet you too" after I said that I walked into the grill, I could feel him walking behind me I then turned and found a booth to sit at. I looked to my right to see Damon at the bar. I then saw Matt approach me.

"Hey" I said.

"Hey, what would you like?" He replied.

"Errr burger, fries and coke please Matt, thanks" I said.

" no problem" he then walked away to give the chef my order. A couple of minutes later my food arrived, I then took my eyes off Damon and ate.

After I was done I looked up to see Damon staring at me from the bar, smirking at me, I smiled back and stood up. I then made my way out of the grill and to my car. I then got in my car and made my way home. I couldn't stop thinking about Damon, he was handsome and his eyes, wooow. I finally reached the house and walked inside to see aunt Jenna.

"Hey Amelia, how are you?" She said.

"I'm good, where's Jer?" I questioned.

"Upstairs"

"Okay thanks" I walked upstairs and knocked on Jeremy's door.

"Come in" I then walked inside. "What do you want?" He asked annoyed.

"Erm I was just wondering how you were?"

"I'm fine, is that all?"

" I guess so" I then walked to my bedroom and spent the rest of the day either on my laptop, writing in my journal or reading a book until I fell asleep.
