Mer's Pov:
I was at the airport getting ready to board the plane I was ready to go to Flordia for a new start and get away from everything that has happened. I heard my phone I knew who it was it was Derek I let it go to voice-mail this is already hard enough but thus is what he wanted. My phone went off agian but this time it wasn't Derek it was Alex. I answered the phone "hey Alex" I said "mer where are you going" he asked. "To Flordia to start new please don't tell Derek I don't want him to find me  Alex" I said beggingly. "Yeah of course but are you sure about this, this is really sudden." He asked with a concern voice. "I'm sure" was all I got before a tear started to go down my face. I couldn't cry know I was leaving starting fresh.  When I got off the the phone with Alex they called for my flight I turned off my phone and said goodbye to the city I once knew for most of my life.
Alex's pov:
When I got home after a long shift I went into my room and saw an envelope it said to Alex. I opened it up and started to read it.
Dear Alex,
This is probably unexpected but I've decided that I will no.longer be doing my residency here in Seattle I have already talked to the Cheif and got a recommendation. Yes this has to do with what happened earlier I need a fresh start. Alex for the last 2 years you have been my best friend and my person. We started out hating each other but then as time went on we realized that we needed each other. I will call you once I start in my new city. Alex please don't get into in trouble it will be hard to get you out of it.

When I was done reading I pulled out my phone and called mer I had to know if she was alright. She was going to Flordia. Freaking Florida idk if I believe that I mean she  has always said she wanted to leave by the beach. I hope Shepherd doesn't ask me where she is because honestly I don't know if I'll be able not to tell him cause I don't think he meant what he said.
