New start

Monday morning 5:40am.
*iPhone alarm* I turned off my annoying alarm and got ready for work last night was the first night I actually slept through the whole night without Derek on my mind so process right. Today was my first day and I was so ready. I got ready and headed to the hospital. When I got there I went to the chiefs office knocked on the door "come in" I heard I walked in. He looked at me like something was wrong " what do you need Dr.Grey," he said in a shitty voice. " I thought that you were going to have someone give me a tour to help me out today" I replied he started to laugh " you think just because your mommy was a big name and you came from a top hospital you were going to get special treat he laughed. I looked at him like he was crazy. " no we don't do tour guides here find everything on your own." I nodded my head and walked out. I eventually found the residency lounged and changed. I found were I needed to go when a other resident dr.Riggs came up to me. He showed me around and helped me all day. I got paged to the chiefs office "oh god this is going to go well I thought to myself" when I got there I knocked he came in. He told me to sit and told me that I was working tonight, all of tomorrow and the next day, said they were short in staff okay than I thought. I went to an on call room to try and get some sleep before my pager went off and of course right as I started to drift off it went off. This was gonna be along ass few days.
