New start prt2

The next day: I have gotten no sleep and have had 3 cups of coffee but it's fine because I'm going to go take a nap. *beep* god fucking dammit. I think to myself it's the cheif. I walk to his office so what I've done ever time I go in. He looks at me and starts to yell at me " are you crazy who do u think u are telling my resident what to do, you aren't the attending hell u are barely a resident if you ever and I mean ever do that again I will have you here so much u will wish you were back in Seattle." He yelled " yes sir," I usually would fight back but I have no motivation.
* flashback from last night*
I was waiting in the er for the trauma coming in some guy fell on his bike. He came in with all of the rodes in him. I had seen this before I worked on a case with Alex like this before. I started ordering what I needed when the other residents beside Riggs looked at me like I was crazy. " what are u looking at get me what I need now or this man is going to die and page general." They did what I was told. Finally an attending came down and said " very brave of the new resident to be bossin around orders Dr.Jones nice to meet you doctor grey." " like wise dr.jones." I gave her a warm smile she is the first person besides Dr.Riggs to actually be nice to me. Well he does need surgery, I would ask you to scrub in grey but cheif doesn't allow new kids especially transfers in the or for atleast a month." She told me with a sad smile I gave her a nod of understanding and went off.
Current: I called Alex,
Alex: hey mer I haven't heard from u how is it.
Mer: Alex it's okay beside the chief he yelled at me for doing my job because I yelled at the other residents to do something cuz I have seen that trauma situation before.
Alex: mer im sorry
Mer: it's okay I'm just tired I haven't slept in almost a day and any time I try my damn pager goes off.
Alex: mer that's not okay, u need to go to sleep. I'm gonna let u go and u go lay down somewhere while u have a minute m. Bye mer
