Part 7 The Deal

"Oh my God! It's you, Alexa!"

"Yes, it's me. I have many faces as well as names." Lucas

"Alexa, stop playing games with me and let me go."

"Nope! I'm sorry, Lucas, but I need you to know the pain you put me through. I have a little story to tell you. Let's start with the night your heartless ass didn't think twice about killing me. I cheat on you with my ex-boyfriend, Chuck. And let's not forget about your brother, what a tasty man he is. but Chuck told me that you were cheating on me with your assistant Mia."

"Lucas looked at her with a confused look, and then He replied Wait a minute, Alexa. Are you for real?" Lucas laughed at the thought of sleeping with Mia, "You are one dumb bimbo. Mia is my cousin, so try again. I'm sure the lies Chuck told you were worth sleeping with him. I never took you to be this naive. I gave all of myself to you and only you, but you're too dumb and blind to see that. You let some outsiders mess up what we had. I was going to ask you to marry me."

Alexa let out a loud sigh. Then she said you never told me that Mia was your cousin. Stop lying to me, Lucas. I'm not lying to you, Alexa, baby. I love you. Please let me go. Alexa broke down in tears. She knew she was wrong for kidnapping Lucas. She sadly walked over to the chair to untie him. Chuck angrily shouted. Move out of my way. Alexia. Then he put the gun in Lucas's face. Alexa yelled out, "Chuck, what the hell are you doing?!" he yelled out in rage.

"Shut up, you nasty, backstabbing slut! We had a deal to kill Lucas Black and cash in on the 2 million dollar Insurance policy!" Lucas replied, "Wait, what? I canceled that policy months ago. "Chuck replied

"Nice try, asshole. Alexa brought me these copies" of your policy yesterday, have a look; Cuck threw the papers in Lucas's face. Alexa cleared her throat and replied, "Um. I reopened the policy after you thought you killed me. When I woke up to find myself at the landfill, I was so pissed off with you. I went to Chuck and asked him to help me get revenge on you." Lucas said." Hold on! I choked you until your neck broke!" "No, you didn't. Lucas, what you heard was a pencil I had in my hand." when you were choking me, I squeezed it until it broke.

Lucas clapped his hands as he said. "Bravo, Alexa. You played your part well, and the plot to kill me was a great addition to the murder. So did you, Chuck." you played the concerned ex-boyfriend with his plan to kill us both. He will kill me now and kill you after you have cashed the policy. Chuck yelled shut up, Lucas. Then he said to Alexa. He's trying to turn us against each other don't listen to him. I love you, and I will never do that to you. I'm nothing like him. Please, Alexa. I know you're not falling for this crap. Lucas noticed Chuck was letting his guard down, and that's when he grabbed the gun, but Chuck was too strong. He threw Lucas to the floor. Lucas pulled Chuck down with him. Chuck dropped the weapon, and Alexa picked it up as they both fell. She quickly started pointing it at them.

"Stop it!!" She screamed, get up." before I kill you both. After Lucas and Chuck stood up, Chuck was so angry at Alexa that he rushed her without thinking. At the same time, they were fighting over the gun. Lucas yelled, "Stop it!" before someone get's hurt.

But it was too late. The gun went off, shooting and killing Alexa instantly. Lucas stood in silence for a few minutes, looking at her body before he picked her up off the floor, not knowing she was dead. He hurried to the car, but as he was about to put her in, he noticed she wasn't moving. He checked her pulse and realized she had died for real this time. Lucas turned around to confront Chuck, but he was gone. Lucas put Alexa's body in the car and drove around, thinking if he should take her to the hospital. Lucas knew he would get blamed for her murder at the hospital. He decided to go to the morgue. Lucas covered his face and laid her down in front of the door. Then he knocked and ran off without being seen, and he drove home thinking about what had just happened and where Chuck could be hiding. After making it home. Lucas took a long hot shower. After getting dressed, he drove over to Tresa's house. He got out of the car, walked up to the door, and knocked. Tresa got up from the computer, walked to the door, and looked out the peephole. Even though she knew it was Lucas, she still asked who it was. in a weak, sad voice, he replied it's me, Lucas. Tresa opened the door to see a tragic man standing there with his head hung low. She quickly grabbed his hand and pulled him inside. Lucas started crying. Lucas looked into her eyes and said. Tresa, I feel terrible." Lucas began to rant on and on without realizing it.

"Tresa, my ex, Alexa, and her old boyfriend Chuck showed up to kill me. They kidnapped me and took me to an old abandoned building. They tried to kill me, but Chuck ended up killing her instead, and then he fled before I could say anything to him. My night and morning were all fucked up." Omg, Lucas, I'm sorry to hear such a horrible thing has happened to you. Lucas let out a sad sigh. Tresa pulled Lucas close to her chest as she gently hugged him. Lucas smiled as he smelled her perfume. Lucas started to get excited. He grabbed her and started kissing her passionately. Treas was shocked, but she gave in and started kissing him back. Before she realized it, Lucas was caressing her thighs as he slowly pulled her panties off. As bad as she wanted him to ravish her body in many ways, she stopped him and began pulling her panties back up. "Treas, I'm sorry. You make my hormones go crazy every time I'm near you. Please don't turn me away. I know you want this just as bad as I do."

"Lucas, calm down. You know how I feel about office romances."

"I'm not just another employee. I'm your boss, which means I can bend the rules if you agree to be with me."

"I need to think things over before I give you an answer, Lucas. I will have it for you tonight at dinner."

"Okay, Treas. I have a few errands to run before our date," Lucas kissed her lips and left. Tresa smiled as she walked over to the couch and sat down,

"Ooh, I know that look!" Tresa looked up at Sally and said, "Oh! You do, huh?"

"Yes, I do! Now slide over so I can sit down."

Treas moved over, and Sally sat next to her, "Listen, Tresa. I saw how you and Lucas look at each other. He's right, you know?"

"About what, Sally?"

"I think Lucas will be a good man for you, and I believe that you want that too."

"I don't do office romances."

Treas "He's the owner, and he can bend the rules. Who knows, he might let you be a stay-at-home girlfriend."

"You have a wild imagination, Sally."

"And you love it." Tresa hugged Sally then she went to bed. Sally stayed up on the computer. She searched Lucas's background to see if he was the right man for Tresa. she didn't find anything life-threatening, so she went to bed. The ring of the doorbell woke Tresa from her slumber. Still half-asleep, Tresa walked downstairs and opened the door without asking who it was. when she opened her eyes, she saw a man she didn't know

Standing at the door, he was tall, dark skin, and slender with a thin mustache. He was a stranger to Tresa's eyes.

she said, "Can I help you, Sir?"

the stranger replied, "I'm hoping you can, Ms. See. I left my wallet in my best friend's car, Lucas. A few nights ago, he and I came by here, but you didn't seem home. Anyway, I need his phone number. I dropped my cell phone, and its factory reset itself, and all my contacts are gone

"Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that. I don't know Lucas's number, though. We haven't exchanged numbers yet. I just met him, and we haven't talked in several days."Thank you anyway, Ms. I'll be on my way."

Tresa closed the door and locked it as she checked the time. She saw that she had thirty minutes to get dressed. She rushed upstairs to shower and get ready. The strange man stood across the street in the bushes watching Tresa's house, hoping that Lucas would appear. Thirty minutes passed by, and just as Chuck was about to leave, Lucas pulled into the driveway. When Lucas got out of the car, he saw a man standing across the street, trying to hide in the bushes. Lucas knocked on the door, and Sally let him in,

"Hey, boss!" come on in

"Call me, Lucas. How are you feeling, Sally?"

"I'm great, Lucas. What's going on? Why are you looking out the window?"

"There's a man in the bushes across the street. He's watching the house."

"What? do you think he can be dangerous

"Sally, I'm not going to lie. He may be looking for me." and yes, he is dangerous

. I figured that when you started looking out the window. Relax, have a seat. I'll take care of him."

Lucas disappeared out the back door and went across the street, sneaking up behind Chuck. Lucas tapped him on the shoulder. When Chuck turned around, Lucas could see the fear in his eyes.
