Lei Jian finally arrived in Demon Clan palace. He finally gain the trust from the Demon clan leader. Now he is there to train himself in Demon clan. He got a chamber for himself. Outside his chamber, he saw a girl with a spear. She train herself in the yard.
Lei Jian walk closer to her. She surprised and stop her training.
"Are you training yourself?" Ask Lei Jian.
"Yes I am. You are not from the Demon Clan, are you?" Ask the girl.
"How do you know?" Ask Lei Jian.
"I can tell by just looking at your appearance." Said the girl.
"Am I too flashy?" Ask Lei Jian.
"No, but most people who born in Demon Clan, usually have one thing in common. Their eyes supposed to be reddish color." Said the girl.
"Thanks. That's a new information for me." Said Lei Jian.
"Are you new here?" Ask the girl.
"Yes I am." Said Lei Jian.
"Nice to meet you then. I'm Shang Xi." Said the girl, who introduced herself as Shang Xi.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Hua Lei Jian. Just call me Lei Jian." Said Lei Jian.
"Alright, I'm going back to the palace first." Said Shang Xi, bowing at him, and left.
Outside the palace.
"Huaah... Finally arrived at the palace..." Said Li Qi.
"Lady, your mother are worried about you.." Said the maid.
"Yeah, I'm sorry, I have performance in the city. They pay two times higher than normal. So I was preforming for a full week." Said Li Qi, lying to her maid.
"Anyway, where is Shang Xi?" Ask Li Qi.
"She is in the palace, talking with your father." Said the maid.
"Alright, I will meet my mother first." Said Li Qi.
Inside Li Qi's mother chamber.
"Li Qi! you finally back. I was worried you left home for a week." Said her mother.
"Don't worry mother. I am fine. Have you consume your medicine?" Ask Li Qi.
"No, I don't. I feel well lately." Said her mother.
"Really? Is there any good things happening while I'm not here?" Ask Li Qi.
"Nothing. Your father visit me a few times lately. He bought me some gift every time he comes." Said her mother.
"That's good. I thought he already abandoned you." Said Li Qi.
"He won't. Why don't you come to visit him?" Said her mother.
"Visit him for what?? He doesn't even remember I'm exist. Since you give birth to me, he never even come to see his daughter. Just because I'm a girl and there is a mortal blood in me. The other people in the palace keep looking at us differently, just because you are human, mother." Said Li Qi.
"Stop it Li Qi! If other people heard that, they will kick us out from the palace!" Said her mother.
"Ya, I want to leave this palace already. It's sickening me to live here! He also keeping an eyes on me by asking Shang Xi to follow me everywhere I go." Said Li Qi.
After Li Qi said that, she left her mother's chamber and go to the White Lily's pond near her own chamber. She stand there looking at two Black swan on the pond.
