Part 7 : Nightmare

Lei Jian leave the restaurant. When he is walking through the door, he bump into someone. The two of them falling on the ground with a sitting pose. Lei Jian look at the person he bump into. It's Li Qi.

"You?!" Said Li Qi.

"I'm sorry for bumping you." Said Lei Jian.

"Ah... so, I finally catch you!" Said Li Qi.

"I'm sorry, but I think I don't have any business with you." Said Lei Jian.

"I don't think you already forget the previous accident in the inn!" Said Li Qi.

"Nothing happen in the inn." Said Lei Jian.

"I don't believe you." Said Li Qi.

"Then, I shall leave now. Excuse myself." Said Lei Jian. He is leaving the restaurant, meanwhile Li Qi following him.

"Why are you still following me?" Ask Lei Jian.

"Because our destination is same, right? You are going back to Demon clan." Said Li Qi.

"I'm going to bookstore." Said Lei Jian.

"Alright then. It's in the same direction." Said Li Qi.

While they both are walking. Lei Jian suddenly remember that Li Hua previously follows him alot. He stop in the middle of the road. Looking at the Orange-ish red sky. If Li Hua still alive, maybe Lei Jian would be a normal person living on a mortal world as an immortal. But who knows how long a person age will be? Mortal's life is shorter than an immortal. Li Hua's death opened a new paths for Lei Jian. Lei Jian can even learn more power and can become more stronger, he can even visit another realm.

Li Qi once again, bump into Lei Jian's back.

"Why did you stop in the middle of the road?!" Said Li Qi.

"Sorry..." Said Lei Jian.

Both of them at the end of the day back to the demon palace again.

Now Lei Jian is in a meeting with the Demon Clan leader.

"Do you know why I called you here?" Ask Tang Zhen.

"Well, since I'm an immortal, I can read people's mind." Said Lei Jian.

"Then you know what is it right? Do you agree with it?" Ask Tang Zhen.

"First, what benefit will I get if I marry your daughter?" Ask Lei Jian.

"You can claim the throne and your status will become prince, you will become more prosper too." Said Tang Zhen.

"I come here to train myself." Said Lei Jian.

"I will also teach our demon's clan power." Said Tang Zhen.

"Give me 3 days to think." Said Lei Jian.

"Sure." Said Tang Zhen.

Lei Jian back to his room. He only have 3 days to think. He really think of everything, the benefit, even the plan to take down Tang Zhen's throne. Maybe with this marriage stuff, he can easily take the throne, after that he will makes a peaceful agreement letter to mortal realm while in search for Li Hua's soul.

While he is thinking, someone knocking on his door. He open it. It's Shang Xi.

"What is it?" Ask Lei Jian.

"Are you free?" Ask Shang Xi.

"Yeah, kind of." Said Lei Jian.

"How about we train?" Ask Shang Xi.

"Sure, but why so sudden?" Ask Lei Jian.

"Leader told me you are here to train. So start from now on I will be training with you." Said Shang Xi.

"Alright." Said Lei Jian.

They both finally train in a yard. Shang Xi using a spear while Lei Jian is weaponless. Shang Xi start moving her spear, trying to attack Lei Jian, but Lei Jian can dodge easily from her. At the end he finally put his inner power on his palm and push it to Shang Xi. Shang Xi fell down to the ground.

"You are so strong... who are you?" Said Shang Xi.

"An immortal.." Said Lei Jian.

"I know.. but, you are too strong and for you to come to the demon clan.... There must be a reason of it..." Said Shang Xi.

Lei Jian giving his hand to help her stand.

"Who knows?" Said Lei Jian.

Shang Xi touch his hand and suddenly a random memories comes to her head. A face of a girl appearing in her brain. That girl looks so familiar. She is holding hand with someone, smiling so happy.

"Are you ok?" Ask Lei Jian.

Shang Xi takes away her hand from him.

"I'm okay..." Said Shang Xi. She end up standing by herself.

"Alright.. Let's end the training today, it's already dark." Said Lei Jian.

"Yeah.. I'll be back first.." Said Shang Xi.

"How about a dinner before we go back?" Ask Lei Jian.

"No. I'm sorry... I'll skip." Said Shang Xi.

Shang Xi right now at her room. She quickly went to bed and have a rest. While she rest, she start dreaming about the past.

Throwback to the past.

"Zhou Li Hua behind you!!" Shout Lei Jian.

A sword stab in to Li Hua's stomach. A red blood streams on her clothes.

She fell down and Lei Jian catch him.

Shang Xi awake from her sleep. Her heart beats so fast and nearly hard to breathe.

"That nightmare, comes again... I-I thought it's already stopped.." Said Shang Xi.

The dream of Li Hua's death keep appearing and bothering Shang Xi. That dream comes since she was a 5 years old kid, a dream of a girl getting killed by a Demon clan. It barely stop after she takes some medicine and the dream really stop appearing when she turn 15 years old. Until today, that dreams suddenly comes again. Every time that dreams come, she feels pity for that girl. She gonna take a revenge to the demon clan, but how? She herself is also born as a Demon race, living in a Demon palace, and under the Demon leader's order...
