"Wangji..."

Lan Qiren stare up at the rooftops, his expression full of horror. It almost seemed like he had saw a walking corpse tap dance. Blood made its way down from his lips, his goatee quivering.

Now, I bet you are inquiring how this had happened. Well, Lan Qiren had received a letter from Lan Xichen who had said it was an anonymous writer. Of course, the goat was highly suspicious. No disciple would dare write a letter to him. Ever. Now, as Lan Qiren watched, he could not tear his eyes off the scene. His beloved nephew, his best student was being tainted right in front of his eyes.

Unforgivable!

"Xichen."

"Uncle?"

Lan Qiren turned to his second nephew, and was speechless. Lan Xichen held a handkerchief casually,  a smile plastered on his face. "What-" Lan Qiren managed, looking baffled.

Lan Xichen, still smiling, said: "A different letter said you'd certainly need it, Uncle."

Lan Qiren's mouth twitched as he held the handkerchief. "Xichen."

"Yes?"

"Should they be punished for breaking curfew?"

Lan Xichen shook his head. "No."

Wei Wuxian pressed his lips into a line, bitting back a curse at a particular Jin.

Lan Wangji on the other hand only looked around, his jade face glowing as his eyes migrated. When he spotted two figures below them, his eyes narrowed. Swiftly, he'd grip Wei Wuxian's wrist, and fled.

"Lan-!"

Wei Wuxian stumbled and tripped, off balanced.

Lan Wangji paused, and in a split second choice, swept the latter in his arms, and continued to rush to Jingshi.

Once there, Wei Wuxian steadied himself. "Lan Zhan, what was that for?"

"Seen." Was the only answer he received.

Wei Wuxian's gears turned. How could someone know? This was not supposed to happen..? Could it be there was someone else who came back too? Did they inform the others about it to change the outcome?

Jin Zixuan frowned at the ceiling, his mind wandering to branches of the futures he had seen. He would then proceed to jump extremely high as someone barged into his room.  Jin Zixuan reached for his sword before pausing, expression changing from annoyance to surprise. "W-wei Wuxian..?"

Wei Wuxian was breathing heavily, his robes slightly wrinkled. "Jin Zi. Xuan." He'd said through gasps. "What. The. Fuc-" before he could finish his sentence, the Jin shushed him with narrowed eyes.

"Wei Wuxian, what happened?"

Wei Wuxian exhaled. "H-he confessed..."

"Ah, already..?"

Wei Wixian: "what do you mean 'already'? Did you plan this?!"

Jin Zixuan furrowed his brow and shook his head. "No. Of course not. But, I have seen that he would certainly confess to you again in the future."

Wei Wuxian pursed his lips. "You mean..?"

Jin Zixuan: " The future with this early confession will change. Before, both of your lives would be hell... especially Hanguang-Jun.." He'd pause, rubbing his temple and knitting his brow. "But since he did it now, this life will be easier. You guys will hopefully communicate better." Jin Zixuan would shoot a glance at the other latter pointedly.
