*Y/N's POV*

With a sigh I close my suitcase and look around my bedroom. In the armchair in the corner of the room I see Mina sitting. Packing took longer than expected, because I hate it and can never decide what to bring. During the whole time my girlfriend refused to leave my side. She never got up from that chair. Just sat there for hours watching me fold clothes and gathering stuff. Now her eyes aren't on me anymore. Her gaze wandered towards the window the moment I closed my suitcase. For a stranger her face might appear emotionless, but I know better.

I can see all the pain she is feeling because I am leaving. The fear she is experiencing because I will have to fly and she never feels safe when flying. Not because she was suspicious about the technology, but she mistrusted the pilots. I see the worries on her face because of the slight hint of jealousy that never leaves her. And I sense the general uncomfort she is feeling about the whole situation. She isn't used to being alone. Not anymore. Not since we met.

"It's only three days princess," I say into the silence, "it will fly by..."

"Hmm," she makes an approving sound, still looking out of the window. I take a few steps closer to her to be able to read her facial expression better. Now I see it. The tense face and the little tear in the corner of her eye. She desperately tries not to cry.

With another step I close the distance between us and wrap my arms around her, not saying a word. I know that she hates this right now. Now that we have physical contact she is not able to hold it in anymore. With one sobbing noise her tears break loose and she cries all the worries and bad thoughts out. We stay like this for a while. Me holding her close and her crying silently.

"I will miss you," her voice sounds thin and a little shaky, "so much..."

"I will miss you too," I pull away from the hug, only to look at her properly and cup her cheeks, "like crazy..."

She sighs deeply before letting out a chuckle to get rid of all the tension, "God..." she swipes off her tears with her thumbs, "I am such a cry baby... What have you done to me?"

I kiss the tip of her nose, "I love that only I get to know that about you... Being a tough woman doesn't mean you don't get to cry," I say and after a little pause I add, "plus you look beautiful when you cry..."

Now she laughs even more, "Bullshit... I look like a mess... But I appreciate the compliment."

I can sense that she feels lighter now, maybe a little better even. "Plus, we can make a video call when we're both in bed, if you want... " I say cheekly, raising my eyebrows suggestively a couple times and earning a grin from my princess.

She looks at her watch and sighs one more time, "You should get going... or you and your dirty mind will be late for the flight," she says grinning even more, letting me know that she likes my idea.

"Next time you're coming with me, and we are taking the private jet to have the plane all to ourselves... Joining mile high club... "

"There you go with the public spaces again," she rolls her eyes playfully and before I can answer that a loud noise from the hallway makes us both turn our heads. One second later two little kittens run through the door like crazy. We both chuckle.

"Take care of little Violet's big sister. We will miss you both," I say lovingly, kissing the back of Mina's hand before walking to the bed and picking up my well packed suitcase.

"Come on, little girl," I say with my baby voice and point at the light purple transporting box, wanting Violet to get in. The little kitten tilts her head, waiting for something. "Oh, right... how could I forget," I say and grab her favorite pillow and a snack to put it into the box. Now satisfied with her transportable home, she walks into it with a few confident steps. I close the little door and we are ready to go. I turn around to see a pouting Mina, fighting tears again.
