trusting the eyebrows

i was awoken by a banging on my door. after the bonfire newt had shown me the room. my room was fairly bland with only a dresser and a bed. it's only source of light was a single window facing out onto the glade

my room was right across from minho's due to protection or something i guess. i was just lucky there was an extra room

focusing on the banging on the door i got up and inspected who was causing it

"hey greenie time to start your first job" my noodle friend said with his funny accent

i rubbed my eyes and yawned as he looked me up and down "you look like clunk"

"i don't know what that means but thanks... can i have a change of clothes... and a shower"

he laughed "of course alice follow me"

*time skip fuckers*

i rang the cold water out of my hair and dried myself off with the towel newt gave me

"hey newt can i have the clothes now please"

"of course" newt had volunteered to guard the showers incase of welp ya know

i peaked out the window to reveal gally "what the fuck where is newt" i panicked grabbing the clothes and shutting the door

"sorry alby asked newt to do something so he told me to keep watch"

"oh... well thank you" that made me smile

as i finished putting on the clothes i stepped out of the shower, my eyes meeting gally's

"hey gally this may be a weird question but what do i look like" i asked

"well you have dark brown hair and green eyes, you're quite pretty, you have dimples and such" his cheeks turned a shade of red as he paused "here let me show you"

gally dragged me into another room across from the showers. my eyes met with a dusty mirror "there"

he was right my eyes were green and i had brown hair. did he really think i was pretty? my hair fell in my eyes and i kept trying to blow it out of my face

gally chuckled "here" he said as he grabbed something from his right pocket

"this might help" looking in the mirror i saw a piece of silk green fabric. a tickle went down my spine as he pulled my hair back with it. my bangs were still hanging out, it was cute

i turned around my eyes meeting a chest, he was closer than i expected. i raised my eyes to meet his. our faces were inches apart

"thank you" i said with a smile

his cheeks turned even more red than before and he rubbed the back of his neck

"yeah sure"

we stared at each other for a few more minutes

"is it weird that you look familiar" he said

my jaw dropped open "did you have that dream too"

he looked confused so i explained it

"no i don't remember that but i do have a feeling i knew you before the glade"

"i don't know my dream felt real, maybe we were close" i said with a smile

suddenly his face turned serious "i usually would immediately report this but i won't, just please keep this quiet i wouldn't want to get hurt, or you"

got that was fucking hot. suddenly there was a voice from the other room calling my name

"that's got to be newt, i've got to go" i said and he nodded his head with a smile

"coming" i yelled as i headed newts way

"did you enjoy your cold shower" newt asked as i met him

i chuckled "sure, what's my first job"

"slicers" ah fuck "hey where'd you get that bandana thing"  newt asked

"it was a gift" i responded with a smile but he just looked confused and accepted it
