Ice cream with Sodapop,Johnny,and Ponyboy part 4

Y/N's POV:

I was contently snuggled in pony's chest but I was woke up to Darry saying "Good morning love birds you really thought I didn't know that you guys are dating,well Two-bit told me everything. I just mumbled under my breath "Next time I see him I'll sure teach him a lesson." Darry said "What was that doll?" And Pony said "It's ok love it's ok." Darry then teasingly said "Oh so she's your love now wait until Steve and Two find out you'll never hear the end of it." That's when Pony said "Oh you shut your trap and they'll never know,now leave us alone so we can get ready for school." Darry just said "Ok I guess I can leave you alone now hurry up so you guys aren't late."

Ponyboys POV:

He finally left us alone so we could get ready for school. So I decided to make small talk with Y/N. We talked about our dream dates and how many kids we wanted.After that Y/N went to the bathroom to get dressed. She came back in this cute outfit and asked me what I thought. It took me a minute to answer because I was speechless because of how Beautiful she looked. But when I finally answered I said "Wow love your so beautiful." She then smiled and me and blushed and said "Wait you really mean it?" And I said "Yes of course love I mean every thing I say to you." She blushed harder and said "Thanks Pony that really means a lot hearing it from you since no boy not even Christian told me that I'm beautiful." I then pulled her into a big hug and said "Your very welcome I love you!" She said "I love you too!" And we stayed in the hug for a couple minutes until Two-bit barged and said "Ok that's enough you two. Y/N I need to talk to you about your living arrangement." We then broke the hug and agreed to meet on the porch when she was done talking so we could head to school.

Two-bits POV:

I just got Y/N so we can talk about where she is going to live. She hugged me and said "Ok Two what's up?" I then said "I have some bad news" She said "Ok what is it?" All confused. So I said "My mom and dad said that we don't have room for you to stay with us." She just said "Ok that's alright I'm sure I can stay here with the Curtis's." To which I said "I'm afraid that's the only option but I'm going to set so ground rules. One..." but before I could finish Darry came in and said "Y/N you better go Ponyboy is waiting on the porch for you and you don't want to be late." She then said "Ok,talk after  school Two see ya later Darry." Then she headed out. I was about to head out to but Darry stopped me and said "Now Two-bit don't you think you are being a little to protective of Y/N." I said "Really you think so." And he said "Yes,now how about we leave the rule making to me since she's going to be living in my house." I reluctantly agreed then headed out.

Y/N's POV:

I made my way to the porch to meet Pony. But when I got to the door I over heard Pony talking to himself. He didn't notice I was standing there so I decided to listen for a couple minutes. Ponyboy said "I can't believe she actually agreed to be my girlfriend. I mean I'm happy and all but shocked because she could pull any boy she wants and she chose me some poor dirty greaser. I better treat her right and make sure she doesn't end up regretting her decision." I just stood there and thought to myself how does he think of him self so low and why would I regret choosing him he's the kindest and sweetest boy I've ever met. I was about to confront him about this but he said "I love Y/N so much if I ever hurt her I'll never forgive myself." Which made me shed some tears of joy and happiness that he loves me so much. So I decided not to confront him about this and just go hug him but before I could I was broke out of my thoughts when Soda  tapped my shoulder and said "Shouldn't you be on your way to school?" This caused Ponyboy to turn around. He saw me and walked over to us and said "Yeah we were just about to leave." Soda said "Alright me and Johnny will meet you by the school gate later to go get ice cream." Me and Pony both said "Okay." Then we headed out. We we got to the end of the street Pony looked me in the eyes and asked "So how much of that did you hear." I pretended not to know what he was talking about. But he knew that I knew exactly what he was talking about so he gave me a gentle kiss on the forehead and said "It's alright I'm not mad that you heard me." So I looked at him and said "Oh alright I heard the whole thing. But I'm really sorry for ease dropping on you." He said "It's alright right love." And we continued our walk to school. When we got there I couldn't wait for it to be over but I had a feeling today was going to go by fast. And I was right.

Ponyboys POV: Today was going by pretty fast and it was finally lunch time and I agreed to meet up with Y/N to eat lunch outside. Once I found her we grabbed our lunch and headed to the picnic tables. We started eating,talking,asking questions, and enjoying each other's company. Until we heard 2 voices calling out to us. When we looked over we saw Soda and Johnny so we went to see what they wanted. When we got there they asked us if we wanted to skip the rest of school and go get ice cream now. I just looked at Y/N and said "Well what do ya say?"  She looked back and me with a smirk on her face and said "Sure why not school is pretty boring anyway and it's the last day of school." We all just laughed and Soda said "Come on let's get outta here before we get caught." So we left and headed to the 12th street dinner to get ice cream.  When we got there there we got in line to order. While we were waiting in line me and Y/N we discussing what flavor to get because we are going to share. When we got to the window we decided upon  chocolate chip cookie dough. We where greeted by a young girl she said "Hi my name is Callie. Y/N said "Hi." Not remembering that I told her that my exes name was Callie. So I looked back at Johnny and Soda hoping they could help. But it was to late Callie already noticed me and said " Well if it isn't Ponyboy Curtis long time no see." Y/N looked and me shocked and she was about to say something but Callie spoke again and said "Oh who's this Pony your little side chick." Y/N then started crying which caused Callie to laugh. Soda and Johnny took Y/N over to the bench to comfort her while I stayed back to have a chat with Callie.

Y/N's POV:

Callie called me Ponyboys side chick which caused me to cry. Soda and Johnny tried comforting me to make me feel better. After I was calm I asked Soda who Callie was. Soda then said "Its not really my place to tell you. I think you should talk to Pony about her." So I said "Fine But can you at least tell me what she meant when she called me his side chick." Soda sighed and said "She called you his side chick because she's one of those girls that don't let go of their exes easily. So she likes to pretend that she is still dating Ponyboy." I said " Oh she's one of those girls." I was about to go back over there to show her that I won't let her bother me and I was kinda mad but Johnny grabbed my arm and said "Look Y/N be careful with what you say and do also don't take anything personal." I looked at Johnny Cade and said "Ok I'll try I promise." So I walked over there to stand up for my self and I  caught the end of their conversation Callie saw me but Pony didn't know I was there so Callie asked " Well Ponyboy don't you still love me." She then looked at me with a smirk. Pony tried speaking and he said "No Callie..." But she pulled him into a kiss which made me cry. Johnny came running to me and so did Soda.

Ponyboys POV: 

Callie asked me if I still love her and I started to speak and I said "No Callie..." But before I could finish she pulled me into a kiss. I immediately pulled away though and when I did I looked her in the eye and I slapped her then I said if I ever see you again your dead especially if you try to hurt Y/N. Callie started crying which for some bazaar reason made me feel happy. But when I turned around I saw Y/N crying in Johnny's arms which broke my heart since I knew why she was crying. I immediately went over to her and grabbed her out of Johnny's arms and whispered in her ear " I'm sorry Y/N I'm so so sorry. She then looked up at me and said "I know she kissed you it's not your fault." "It's just seeing the look on her face that made me cry,she looked so happy that she hurt me." I just simply said "Yeah I bet and again I'm really sorry also I love you so so much." Y/N was silant and hesitant for a second but she said I love you too and she pulled me into a kiss. But this time I could actually enjoy it.
