Let's have some fun with this.

No one was really sure where you came from. You just kind of appeared and made yourself comfortable in the mushroom village. You had your own house and everything, and you were pretty nice to the residents. Peach, Mario, and Luigi had yet to talk to you because they were not sure if you were trustworthy. Wario and Waluigi, however, spoke to you quite often since you intrigued them.

They couldn't remember the last time someone other than the mushroom people had moved into town. Wario wanted to know how much money you had so he could see if robbing you was worth his time, while Waluigi wanted to know where you came from and how you seemingly appeared out of nowhere.

You were having a pleasant conversation with the two brothers in a lovely cafe. Wario had suggested going there since he was hungry, but he also wanted to see if you could handle the tab all by yourself. While Wario was munching away, you and Waluigi were happily chatting. "So did the princess even know you were coming?" Waluigi asked, taking a sip of his honey tea.

"Nope... At least I don't think she did she hasn't talked to me yet. Come to think of it you two are the only ones besides the mushroom people to chat with me." You said, looking up at the clouds lost in thought. Waluigi let out a hum and looked over to his brother, who had finished scoffing his food and looked confused.

Wario was sure that the Mario brothers would've at least tried to talk to you in the couple of weeks you had been there but hearing that not an attempt was made was baffling. Waluigi was glad he was the first to talk to you since it meant the green bean couldn't tell you bad things about him.

The waitress came over, asking who would pay. Before Waluigi could offer, you said, "I will be paying," catching Waluigi off guard and leaving Wario feeling slightly guilty. He didn't really feel like robbing you anymore after hearing that they were the only ones that talked to you. Wario knows you said 'besides the mushroom people,' but their conversations are so bland, he doubts you find joy in talking with them.

"Your total would be 550 gold, please," The waitress said, causing Waluigi to glare and Wario and Wario to wince slightly. You turned your palm to the sky, and sparkles started to surround it. They all started spinning around, and suddenly a small sack of gold appeared in your hand. "Keep the change you said as you gave the bag of gold to the waitress and got up from your chair.

Waluigi and Wario were in a state of shock. They didn't think you could do that. They shook their heads and got up from their chairs before going home since you had already left. Wario had already decided that stealing from you wasn't the best idea, especially if you could summon things to your disposal, but having you as an acquaintance would be helpful.

Waluigi, however, was trying to remember where he had seen such a display of magic before. The answer felt so close yet so far, and it frustrated Waluigi. As they arrived at their door, Waluigi let out a sigh and went to attend to his pirana plants to take his mind off things.

You were at home relaxing a little, only for somebody to knock on your door. You got up and answered it, and Mario and Luigi were standing there with slight smiles on their face. It's a me, Mario and my brother Luigi! We have some questions are we are allowed inside?" Mario asked, leaning forward, trying to see if anyone was inside.

"I'm (y/n) and yes you may come inside just no funny business, kay?" You said as you stepped aside, allowing the brothers into your home. Mario and Luigi sat on the couch, and you sat across from them with (drink of preference) in your hands. "So our first question is where are you from? Peach was wondering" Luigi started the first question.

"That is privet information and if Peach wanted to know she should've come herself," You said, annoyed. The brothers looked slightly uncomfortable but continued, "Why do you hang out with the Wario brothers so much? Are you a relative or something?" Mario asked.

Mario finds it hard to believe that you could be an old friend of theirs due to their rude and greedy nature, so a relative was the only thing he could think of. You shook your head. "Not a relative. I chill with them cause they are the only ones who bothered to talk to me while you two were evidently stalking me." You said accusingly.

Luigi started to shake his head vigorously. "N-no, we weren't stalking! We saw them hanging out with you and got worried cause they are both real crooks! Especially Waluigi!! We just wanted to make sure you were okay!" Luigi explained. You glared at him slightly. You never did understand what he had against Waluigi. You let out a breath and urged them to continue.

"Do you work for bowser?" Mario asked. That was it. You were done. "No, I do not. Now I must request you leave my house and think longer before coming to me with such disrespectful questions!" You pointed to the door. Mario grabbed Luigi's hand and dashed out of the house, slamming the door behind him.

You let out a frustrated sigh as you went out of the house to your favourite spot. If you went through the forest for long enough, it would end near a cliff that overlooked the sea, and it was where you came to clear your head. You sat down near the edge and took a deep breath in breathing in the sea air.

"Didn't know I wasn't the only one to know about this place" A voice caught you off guard, causing you to jump and look behind you. Waluigi was standing there with a pirana plant in his hands. You smiled, and Waluigi came to sit next to you. "So how did you find this place?" You asked curiously while you started to strike the pirana plants.

"I read a book about pirana plants and it stated that they enjoy the smell of sea air so I found this place. I usually bring one with me whenever I come over. How did you find this place?" Waluigi asked while also petting the pirana plant. "I came here a lot as a kid since it was so close to the cottage I used to live in." You explained. Waluigi frowned a little.

"A cottage in the forest?" He asked, seemingly lost in thought. You nodded and looked back across the sea. Waluigi remembered getting lost in the forest when he was a kid because he saw a golden pirana plant, and he wanted to pet it. The pirana plant disappeared into the ground and kept on reappearing deeper and deeper into the forest.

It did it repeatedly until, at one point, it didn't come back up, and Waluigi was left in the middle of the forest alone. Waluigi had attempted to call for Wario but never got a response due to how far away from the city he was. It took everything in Waluigi to not cry and try and find a way out of the deep forest.

He had walked around for what felt like hours before he stumbled upon a cottage. Outside of the cabin was another child with their back facing him, attending to multiple flowers that varied in colour. Waluigi desperately wanted to get out of the forest and thought that the kid would know their way through the forest since they lived there.

"H-hello?" Waluigi tried to get the kid's attention. The kid hummed and turned around, meeting eyes with Waluigi. "Can I help you?" The kid asked with a smile. Waluigi swallowed hard and continued, "I-i was following a golden pirana and g-got lost. I was hoping you could help me get out?"

The other kid flashed a big toothy grin. "Of course I know the way out! I am a forest guaIt'san! Its practically my job!" The kid said before grabbing Waluigi's hand and running off with Waluigi in tow. It took a couple of seconds to reach the end of the forest. The kid let go of Waluigi's hand. The kid had disappeared before Waluigi could thank them.

Waluigi heard Wario calling for him, so he ran over, ignoring the multiple thoughts that surged through his mind. Waluigi's flashback had ended, and he had figured why you seemed so familiar. He wondered if you would even remember him from that long ago. Waluigi let out a content sigh as he relaxed.

He was glad he figured where he remembered you from. His next question was, why were you no longer in the forest?

Cliffhanger! Also, I have no idea where I was going with this, so enjoy the randomness.
