Chapter 9: Te Amo

After calming Pepa down, and Felix coming back to calm Pepa down... Everyone in the family has been instructed to find Mirabel. "Y/N!" Then Antonio called you out of nowhere and dragged you out but before her could do that, Camilo grabbed your hand. You turned to him with smile, "It's probably Mirabel. I'll take care of it...." You said as he nodded, "Come back and tell me everything." Camilo said as you nodded and went with Antonio. "Tonito, you overheard the situation?" You asked the 5 year old as he nods and went inside of a painting next to Dolores' door. You went with him and soon you both reached a place where Bruno is in. You opened the door and saw Mirabel and Bruno talking about taking another vision, "Look, even if I wanted to, which I don't, you wrecked my vision cave. Which is a problem, 'cause I need a big open space." Bruno said as Mirabel convinced him, "We'll find one." Mirabel said as Bruno asked where... "Use my room." Antonio said making them turn around and saw you and Antonio, "The rats told him everything." You said as you saw his jaguar attempting to eat the rats, "Don't eat those." Antonio said as the jaguar sighs and stops. You looked around the space and it was pretty clear that he need to get out of this spot and come back to the family. Bruno then agreed and you four got out of that space and head inside of Antonio's room.

The room was rumbling and it was clear that the magic is so close to dying. "We might wanna hurry." Mirabel said as Bruno lifted a pot of sand and creates a circle around him and Mirabel. You and Antonio stood close to the duo and watch what will happen, "What if I show you something worse? If I see something that you don't like, you're gonna be all, "Bruno makes bad things happen. Oh, he's creepy and his vision killed my goldfish."" Bruno said thinking this is a bad idea, "I don't think you make bad things happen. Sometimes family weirdos just get a bad rap." Mirabel said as Bruno turned to you, "Mira is right, Senor. Just because you predict them that doesn't mean you caused them." You said with a smile, "You can do this." You said as Antonio gave his stitched stuffed animal jaguar to Bruno. "For the nerves." Antonio said as he hops on his jaguar, "Tonito, go to your parents for awhile." You said as he nods and went out of his room. "You're one hell of a girl, kid. I'm sure Camilo will be happy." Bruno said as to you as you blushed. He then started to do his thing and soon after, wind came inside of Antonio's room. You found a place where you can hang on and then sand engulfs the two. You heard them shouting and shouting but then Mirabel shouted a name, "Isabela?!" Mirabel said as you predict it was not good. The sand falls down and you saw Bruno holding a glowing tapestry, "Oh, your sister? That's great!" Bruno said as you hurriedly go to his side and saw the image of Mirabel hugging Isabela. 'This isn't good.' You thought as you and Bruno saw Mirabel growling. Bruno sighs and threw the tapestry, "Every time." He said with a disbelief face.

Outside in the corridors, you, Mirabel and Bruno stood across the way and eyeing Isabela's door. "Why would embracing Isabela do anything?" Mirabel asked, "I don't know. Our family got a miracle. How do you help a family miracle? You hug a sister." Bruno said, "Maybe hugging Isabela is just another way to solve what is happening to the miracle." You said as Mirabel sighs but then you heard Camilo calling for Mirabel, "Mirabel?" Camilo said then he shape shifted to a grown man's body and a baby face with baby hands, "Mirabel?" Camilo said with a high pitched voice. "I'll take care of Camilo... Mirabel, you have to do it." You said to Mirabel as she hesitated nod. You went down the stairs and tapped Camilo's grown man shoulder. He then changed back to himself, "Hermosa." Camilo said as you pulled him to the side and found a bench that he can sit on, "I'm sorry you had to see that." Camilo said as you put a hand on his, "I know it's hard to hold it... Just breathe and let the air out." You said as he smiles and followed your advice. "So... You're gonna tell me what happened next?" Camilo asked you as you sigh, "Well, you might wanna hang on for the ride." You said as he smirks, "I'm listening." He said as you smile and told the rest of your adventure with Mirabel.

"That seems tough... No wonder you were covered with sand earlier." Camilo said as you sigh, "A little adventure can't hurt a girl, right?" You said as Camilo smiles, "True." He said as you both laugh it off. "Hey... About that time where I was... grumpy?" Camilo said. You remembered that moment, "Oh, right. That scary glare that you made." You said as he shot his head to you, "I-I scared you?" Camilo asked. There... You made the big mistake. "I-It's fine... I just never seen you so pissed off before." You said calming him down, "I was just... So jealous that I was practically gonna say that I like you but you were so busy with that and..." He said so fast but you caught it. When he finished, he realized that he just embarrassed himself by confessing to you at the worst moment. His eyes turned to, expecting you to laugh but when he made contact... He saw you blushing and averting your gaze to the other side. He then started blushing and looked at the otherside while rubbing his nape. "You... Like me?" You asked suddenly, breaking the awkward silence that engulfed the both of you. "I-I was planning to take you to that tree over the hill close to town but..." He said as you turn and smile then kissed his cheek. His eyes widen and he turns to you. His face was so red that he almost resembled to a tomato, "Ako din. Gusto kita." You said as an eye brow raised from Camilo, "Does that mean... You like me too?" He asked as you stood up, put your hands behind your back and smiles, "Figure it out, Pogi." You said with a cute smile and walked away that made Camilo smirked and chased after you, "Mi Vida! Wait up!" He shouted feeling so in love with you.
