Brittany’s POV
We finally made it to the fair. The sun was shining and it wasn’t too hot since it was already later in the day so it was very comfortable. We all paid and got our tickets even though it was a battle between us 3 girls and the boys. Them being such gentlemen they refused let us pay for ourselves even though we told them we were perfectly capable of doing so. I hated it when guys did this. We finally got in and my eyes went big. I was so excited because around this time at home I would at Valley Fair but since we were in London for the summer I thought I had to miss going to an amusement park so I was very excited to be at a fair. There was a Ferris Wheel, roller coaster everywhere, arcade games, haunted houses, and then this one I really wanted to go on. You had to lay down on your stomach while they strap you in with your partner and then they bring you up high and let you swing back and forth. Since almost every ride you had to have a partner we decided to buddy up. It was Ashley and Max, Jenny and Jay( I don’t know how I felt about that since they’ve been flirting since we left. Only 17 Jay!), Tom and Siva, and Nathan and I. And I was not complaining about being stuck with Nathan all day.
“ So what ride should we go on first guys? ” I said with a big ass grin on my face.
“ Let’s go on the roller coaster!!”Ashley suggested.
Of course she chose the rollercoaster that was the fastest and gave you whip lash. But boy was it a blast. I was screaming at the top of my lungs. Poor Nathan he’s gonna be deaf by the time the day ends. Deaf boy problems. We went on a couple more roller coaster rides then stopped and played some arcade games for awhile before we decided to give that a rest and do something that was more relaxing. Next stop was the Ferris Wheel, how romantic. Haha Just Kidding. Each group all got settled into their own cars or whatever you call them and off it went.
“ Wow it is so pretty up here.” I said.
“Yeah it is. Just like you.” Nathan said. I looked at him not knowing what to do except the one thing I didn’t want to do, blush.
“ You suck. Stop making me blush.” I said with a giggle.
“ Why? Your cute when you blush. I like it.” He replied. I couldn’t help but stare into his beautiful green eyes. Then he started to lean closer and I knew what was going to happen. Shit, shit, shit, shit. Did I want this to happen? I think I do… Yes I did. But so soon it’s been nice hanging out as friends, there was no pressure. Just before there the gap between us was about to disappear the Ferris Wheel stops which made Nathan pull away quickly. And a guy came over the microphone: “ Sorry everyone, having a little technical difficulties but no worry it will be fixed in a couple minutes. Just stay still.”
“Where the hell are we going to go.” I said to fill the awkward silence that had set in. Nathan just busted out laughing. Oh his laugh is so adorable.
“ Soo…” I said.
“Soo…” Nathan said. Really I hate awkward moments. And it looked like it was going to be longer than a couple minutes that we were going to be stuck.
“ Let’s play 20 questions to pass the time.” I suggested.
~ I’m going to use initials for this part since it’s easier to do it that way.
“ Ok. What’s your favorite color?”-N
“ Toss up between green and purple, You?” -B
“ Red. Favorite all time band?” -N
“ Backstreet Boys.” -B
“ I thought we were you favorite band?” –N
“ Well now you are but the backstreet boys have my heart forever. Ahaha what’s yours?” –B
