"What?" Blister snarled, "What I steal is mine!" Kite had to admit that her plan had worked brilliantly. She'd gotten Blister to admit that she was planning to rob Queen Oasis' treasury.

"Some help might be useful," Kite told her. Blister glared at her. The SandWing princess was always so unemotional. For her to show her anger so obviously, she must be furious.

"I am Q-Princess Blister!" she roared. "I NEVER need help! I've got this completely under control."

"What about the guards?" Kite asked, "or your sisters? If this plan is so great, then tell me."

Blister looked at Kite for a long moment. She pinned the SkyWing under her fierce onyx stare. Finally she spoke.

"The plan is scavengers," Blister said with a straight face. Kite smothered her laughter with one of the green pillows on the bed.

"It's very-um-straightforward," she suggested.

"It's more complicated than that," Blister protested.

"Tell me how," Kite demanded.

"Do you still think you're going to help me rob the treasury? You'll just get in the way," Blister snapped.

"I don't think so," Kite laughed.

"It's true. You will." Blister edged to the side of her bed, a hint of worry sparked on her face before she squelched it. Kite's eyes fell on a small chest. When Blister moved she'd shifted her body to partly block it.

It's got to have something to do with the robbery, thought Kite. Got to find a way to get my talons on it.

"Why don't you leave," Blister said coldly.

"What," Kite exclaimed, "I'm not allowed to spend some time with my friend?" Blister sighed.

"All right. You can stay," Blister grumbled. Kite slowly slid her eyes to the chest. Blister had moved and now it was in plain sight.

Kite made her move.

In one smooth motion she slid the chest over to her, lifted it in her claws and flipped the lid open.
