The silence in the living room was deafening as Marco stared at Finn and Sansa, his heart pounded in his chest as he tried to work out when Finn would have been conceived; he had no idea what to say about this.

“Why don’t we go out for ice cream?” Aunt Leila suggested looking between the former couple, she guessed that she should have known that this would happen but she never thought that Sansa would agree to see Marco.

Sansa nodded at her aunt, she knew Marco deserved an explanation for what was going on and she was finally going to do the right thing; she could only imagine what he was thinking right now.

“Do I have to go?” Finn whined looking at his mother, he had just come home from school and he wanted to spend time with Sansa before she left for work; he pouted staring up at Sansa with big brown eyes.

Marco smiled a little watching Sansa with Finn, she was an amazing mother and he was sure that Finn had everything that he had ever wanted; he knew that he would be getting answers now that he knew about Finn.

“It won’t be for long… just while I talk to Marco,” Sansa reassured pressing a kiss to the top of her son’s head, she wasn’t looking forward to her talk with Marco and there was no way around it now.

Aunt Leila stepped forward to take Finn, she offered a concerned look at Marco hoping that he wasn’t going to make Sansa feel worse about what had happened; it was bad enough her own parents had disowned her after what had happened to her.

It didn’t take Aunt Leila long to persuade the four year old to leave, she offered a small smile to the former couple before she left them alone; they needed to talk and it was long overdue.

Sansa was silent as she turned to look at Marco, she was worried that he was going to turn her away and not listen to her; she feared what he would think of her when he knew.

“He’s a wonderful little boy,” Marco whispered feeling his stomach churn, Finn should have been his son and yet he wasn’t; he stared at Sansa wondering how this had happened, he didn’t want to believe that she had cheated on him.

Sansa nodded her head, she could see that he was hurt and she didn’t blame him if he wanted nothing to do with her; she hated what had happened even if it had given her Finn.

“You don’t have to stay,” Sansa murmured watching her ex-boyfriend, she wouldn’t stop him if he decided to leave and she would allow Cathy to tell him the truth.

Marco stared at Sansa, he frowned knowing that he couldn’t walk away now especially with the feelings that bubbled under the surface at the fact that he was so close to the one that had gotten away from him.

“We were so good together Sansa… what happened?” Marco murmured trying to accept the fact that she had cheated on him, he wanted answers and he wasn’t going to walk away now when he could get them.

Sansa looked away from Marco, she was unable to look at him the guilt at what had happened starting to eat away at her again; she didn’t want to cry and this was going to be hard enough.

“Did you not love me anymore is that why you did it?” Marco murmured watching Sansa, he just didn’t understand how she could have done that to him; he was a little relieved that she had never tried to pass Finn off as his own son to get money from him.

Sansa flinched at Marco’s words, she knew that he would think that she had cheated; she might as well have and she hated that she had hurt him, she wished that she could undo all the hurt that she had put him through in the past.

“Was he better than me?” Marco asked starting feel angry that Sansa had cheated on him, he wanted answers and yet Sansa hadn’t said anything yet; he wanted to know what had happened to make her do this to happen.
