Marco took a deep breath as he showed his parents into the living room, he wasn't sure why they had come but he hoped that after this meeting that things would get better; he wanted them to get put the past behind them.

Manuela took a deep breath following her son into his home, nothing had changed since the last time that she had been to Marco's home; she wasn't looking forward to this meeting but she knew that her husband wasn't going to let her walk away.

Sansa looked up nervously at Marco's parents, she wasn't looking forward to this meeting but she knew that they needed to clear the air; they disliked her for a reason and that needed to change.

"It's nice to see you again Sansa," Thomas greeted politely, it had taken a lot to get Marco to agree to this meeting and he knew that the couple were here to stay after everything that they had been through recently.

Sansa smiled weakly at Thomas, she knew that he would be more willing to listen to her side of things than his wife; she had lost their trust and she didn't blame them for not liking her after how she had hurt Marco.

Marco sat down next to Sansa, he took her hand watching his parents; he wanted them to let this go and he knew that could only happen if they had the entire story.

Marco had forgiven Sansa a long time ago for what she had done, he knew why she had ended things and she had done the right thing; he understood that now even if it was hard to agree to.

"Let's get this over with," Manuela murmured looking around, she was sure that there was nothing new that she could be told about what had happened; she wasn't going to forgive and forget as easily as her son had done not after what had happened.

Marco sighed, he wasn't expecting his mother to play nice but he wished that she would understand why had forgiven Sansa; he wanted nothing more than to have his family in his life.

"I know that you don't like me, I don't blame you for that," Sansa whispered looking down at her hands, she hated everything that was happening but it was her own fault and she could only explain to them why she had done it.

Manuela and Thomas stared at the blonde, they weren't sure what she expected them to say but none of this made up for the fact that she had broken their son's heart.

"I did a horrible thing to Marco," Sansa continued trying to think how she would explain this to them, she didn't like talking about what had happened but she needed to do it.

Manuela and Thomas were never going to trust her unless she told them the truth and probably thought she was a cheating whore; Sansa wanted to show them that wasn't true at all and she wouldn't hurt Marco again.

"Damn right you did... do you have any idea how devastated he was after what you did?" Manuela snapped tired of Sansa playing innocent, she knew that the blonde had cheated on her son; there was no other way that she could have had a child that wasn't Marco's if that wasn't the case.

Marco glared at his mother, he wished that she would just listen to what Sansa had to say; he had talked about the past with Sansa and they didn't have any secrets between them anymore.

"He was blamed himself for what you did, he wouldn't eat, wouldn't sleep..." Manuela spat shaking her head, she had feared for her son before he had snapped out of her; she could never forgive Sansa for what had happened.

Sansa swallowed and closed her green eyes, she took a couple of deep breathes while Marco whispered softly to her; they were past this and she had nothing to feel guilty about.

Thomas rested a hand on his wife's knee watching Sansa and Marco, they seemed so in love and he knew that if Marco had forgiven Sansa for a reason; he was sure that they were going to tell them what had happened.

Manuela pursed her lips, she watched Marco as he comforted Sansa for a moment; he wrapped his arms around the blonde and whispered to her about something.

"Please just let Sansa explain," Marco murmured turning to look at his parents, he didn't want them snapping at Sansa; they needed to hear the truth about what had happened.

Marco held Sansa close knowing that he would support her, he wasn't going to let her down and he knew that she found it hard to talk about what had happened; he wanted her to feel safe after what had happened to her.

Sansa took a deep breath, she tried to gather her thoughts wanting to get this over and done with; she was a little worried that Manuela and Thomas wouldn't believe her but Marco had found a couple of news articles about what had happened for evidence in case they needed it.

"The night that I broke up with Marco... I was raped," Sansa revealed feeling her hands shake, she could still remember that night clearly and it made her stomach churn.

Marco held her close, he closed his eyes wanting to hurt Connor for what he had done; he wished to cut the man from their lives but this would forever haunt them and he knew it.

"It was the night that Marco was going to propose. I left my apartment and bumped into Connor," Sansa whispered not looking at Marco's parents, if she did then she would stop talking and they would never know what had happened.

Manuela was silent while Sansa talked, she felt numb to what she was hearing and she had never expected this; she felt horrible and she watched at how broken Sansa seemed.

"Connor followed me down the stairs and pushed me into the wall, I fought him as hard as I could but he was just too strong," Sansa continued with tears burning her eyes, she could still remember how he had pressed her into the wall; she had tried to fight him off but it hadn't been enough.

Marco whispered softly to her trying to take her mind off what had happened, he would never let anyone hurt her or Finn again; they were his family and he would protect them no matter what.

"Afterwards I didn't tell anyone but the police and Cathy. I wanted Connor behind bars so that he couldn't hurt anyone else," Sansa murmured shaking her head, she had wanted it to stay that way but things had changed for the better and she was glad that she could put the past behind her.

Marco looked at his parents, he could see that they were shocked by what they were hearing and he didn't blame them; he was just thankful that Leila had taken Finn to the zoo for the day while they spoke with his parents.

"Marco had his dream and I knew that he would have taken time off to be with me. I didn't want him to pity me," Sansa murmured not looking at Marco, she had always stuck by her decision to leave him and he wouldn't have been who he was today if she hadn't.

Sansa hadn't been in a good place the first few months after what had happened, she'd been pregnant and had a court case to deal with; she had hardly anyone to turn to and it hadn't been easy.

Marco closed his eyes holding onto Sansa, he hated that she had been alone but he doubted that he would have been in the right place to help her when this had happened.

Manuela open and closed her mouth as what had happened to Sansa sunk in, she felt terrible but she couldn't find the words to say anything to the blonde.

Thomas sighed knowing that things were going to change now, they knew the truth and what Sansa had been through was terrible but it was time to move on for the sake of everyone's future.
